Good but not without issues.
Works fine, reasonably priced and light enough for most to install alone. Directional vanes are small and flimsy. Because the display panel is angled up, functions other than on/off, and fan speed on the remote are useless, you can't see what is changing. Assembly might be hard for someone with limited strength and a power drill is needed. Attaching the screws for the top bracket required a LOT of pressure. Aligning the screws for the side brackets was difficult, getting at the holes is hard (see pics) and without a power drill virtually impossible to get the screws in. You should always secure the unit to the window frame but all windows are different and sometimes the hardware is not practical, or you don't' want to put holes in. My Dad taught a trick, after the unit is in, measure the distance between the top of the bottom window and the inside of the top of the frame and cut a piece of wood, I used an old broom handle. Put the wood between and it is impossible for the window to open and the AC unit to fall out (see pic).

Great little air conditioner.
This is my second unit. One is in the living room, the other is in the bedroom. Obviously the bedroom is where it really shines with the door closed but it works well in the living room too where it has to deal with the open air flow coming from the kitchen and hallway. It just takes longer for the temperature to drop but that's to be expected when using it in a space that exceeds the square footage it's rated for. What I like most is the timer. I can time it to turn off just before my alarm clock goes off so I don't have to blast my alarm sound level just to hear it while the AC is running. So yes, it's not a silent unit but I don't have any complaints with the sound decibels it makes when running. I also like the design of the front of the unit. It doesn't protrude out too much so it's almost flush against the wall depending on your window's design. All in all, I'm very pleased with this purchase. It's light and compact which makes for easy installation.

Good Price and Works Great very little noice
I purchased this LG A C unit for my bedroom. It's about 200 ft² and it works great. It was easy to install very light which allowed me to install this by myself with no added. Help cools the room quite nicely and it's extremely quiet so you can leave it on overnight. And not be disturbed I would definitely recommend this purchase to a friend or a family member
