A: Hello Bill, Thanks for reaching out. I just got my TV 2 weeks ago. I LOOOVE it so much; I can barely pull myself away from it. Regarding your question; I also have a sound bar. The sound bar will not block your screen to the point of interrupting your viewing experience. It may block the lower portion of the screen by no more than 1/4 to 1 inch. In any event, I put my sound bar on a separate stand in front of the TV. I did so because the sound bar will block the “eye” of the TV, creating an obstruction from the remote, turning the TV on and off. I hope this helps. I also strongly recommend you buy this TV. The picture is absolutely gorgeous; a viewing experience so immersive, I feel like I’m in the picture. Bill, good luck with your choice. Best, Tim

The bottom row of VESA mount holes is 8.15" (207 mm) from the bottom of the panel. The TV has a VESA Mount Pattern of 400 x 200 which means that the VESA mount holes are apart by 200 mm vertically. So if you add 200 mm which is 7.87" to the distance that the bottom row of VESA mount holes is from the bottom of the panel, that will be the distance between the top row of VESA mount holes and the bottom of the panel which is 16.02"...^Ivan
