Hello Bill, Thanks for reaching out. I just got my TV 2 weeks ago. I LOOOVE it so much; I can barely pull myself away from it. Regarding your question; I also have a sound bar. The sound bar will not block your screen to the point of interrupting your viewing experience. It may block the lower portion of the screen by no more than 1/4 to 1 inch. In any event, I put my sound bar on a separate stand in front of the TV. I did so because the sound bar will block the “eye” of the TV, creating an obstruction from the remote, turning the TV on and off. I hope this helps. I also strongly recommend you buy this TV. The picture is absolutely gorgeous; a viewing experience so immersive, I feel like I’m in the picture. Bill, good luck with your choice. Best, Tim
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe it’s 2 1/2”. I have this on a cabinet & put a 12” x 36” piece of 1” cork underneath the 77” LG OLED B2 & it clears my sonos sound-bar perfectly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The tv stand blocks the cables from soundbar going under so you have to wrap around it. This TV really needs a wall mount to work properly with a sound bar.
