The same SHARC DSP chip found in our flagship Helix processor enables HX Stomp to run up to eight processing blocks simultaneously, with pristine audio quality, making it the most powerful and flexible stompbox-sized amp and effects processor currently available. Use it as a “super stompbox,” a backup or travel rig, an add-on tone expander with other modelers, a professional-quality audio interface that simplifies home recording, or even a complete guitar or bass rig. HX Stomp also contains the same HX models found in Helix products—more than 300 amps, cabs, and effects, including world-class polyphonic pitch-shifting effects. There are also presets created specifically for bass players, as well as individual bass amp and cab models. Additional features include a choice of true bypass and DSP bypass with trails, a stereo effects loop to integrate external devices or employ 4-Cable Method, a jack for two external footswitches or an expression pedal, extensive MIDI control, third-party IR support, and a multichannel 24-bit/96kHz USB audio interface. The free HX Edit app lets you create, save and load presets, and customize nearly all pedal parameters. It’s also a preset librarian, IR loader, and more.

Great For Bass
This is great. I use it for bass and it has given me access to just about every tone I will ever need. It’s intuitive and easy to use.

More than an amp sim
For the price you cant beat the HX Stomp xl. I wont go into a long winded review. As a poor musician that just has this, my computer and a guitar. It sounds great and is useful for bass vox and synth applications. Definitely a great choice for anyone wanting a powerful and not expensive very useful piece of gear.
