A: No it is USB A. It does not have the C type. Which is a same it would be a great keyboard and mouse otherwise for the MAC.

A: I cannot answer this question completely. I do turn my computer off alot and a do not let it sit idle. So I am not sure of how long. I have found that a few times it takes awhile for my mouse to come alive after I have left my computer sit for awhile. Carolyn

Keyboard great! Mouse wheel broke.
The keyboard keys make a nice bubble sound when typing. I love it. However, the mouse wheel broke, so I can't use it to scroll up and down anymore. It hasn't even been a full 2 months. :(
