Currently, there's no industry standard or regulation for manufacturing LEDs, which is why performance varies with dimming controls. How far is the range of the hub? Will it connect with switches throughout the house as well as a detached garage?
Answered by lutronAll the Caseta switches or dimmers have to be within a ( 30 foot ) radius from the Bridge/Hub. If the detached garage is more than ( 30 feet ) from the Bridge/Hub, then you would need to purchase a wireless auxiliary repeateer to extend the range. Can you put the switch into an existing wallplate that is already in your wall. Will it fit?

When ganging with another control in the wall, Lutron recommends breaking off the metal fins on the sides of the control.
