Great speaker, the bass travels through the whole house even up stairs.

I absolutely love the Dynamo 1600X from Martin Logan. I’ve owned MANY subwoofers, and it’s one of my favorites. The 1100X is a great sub as well, but the 15” 1600X is well worth it if you can afford it. Personally, I only buy used, but you do you. The app control is one of the best features of this line of subs. I believe they all have it besides the 8” 800x. You have the option to set it up front or down firing, using Martin Logan’s proprietary spike/foot system. Just remember, ALWAYS make sure you have the spikes screwed in tightly, or else you’ll end up damaging your foot/sub when you try to move it and it flexes and bends and damages the threaded nut insert basically. I’ve seen many damaged subs because of this simple thing. I recently repaired shipping damage and painted mine with a couple coats of dura tex, and it turned out great.

It’s big and powerful. Can be set for bass to fire down (that’s how it comes) or you can reconfigure the legs for the bass to fire out. Love the 2 apps it has available to set up for your room correction and sound control. I recommend reading the manual and watching videos on it, so you are aware of how to use it properly.

This sub fills the room! I have had many subs in my theater and after purchasing the Martin Logan 1100 i decided to replace the other two subs with this one and it hits hard and clean! This will shake the house! Very pleased! Love the Acoustic room correction! Makes set up complete..

Had a Klipsch 12" sub previously which I also purchased from Best Buy and wasn't bad, but relocated to a home with a larger space to fill with more hard space and decided on this to beef up low end. Wow; again, wow, huge difference; using a sub platform which deadens the sound on a hard maple floor and this thing seamlessly takes all of the wow and flutter and transforms it into low end heaven; using it with primary JBL studio monitors with 12"/5"/1" and secondary Audio Technica with 10"/3"/1" and it enhances the low end of these speakers while seamlessly giving me BIG bottom. Love this sub!

I replaced an older Velodyne 18" sub with the Martin Logan 15" Dynamo. VERY pleased with its performance. There's a great phone app allows you to control it. Tight and powerful base! Easily fills my theater room which is 18' x 25'.

Just amazing has deep rich bass tons of tech toys along with a great quality speaker , massive well worth it it’s one of those things u can build the ultimate home audio system around never a need to add more punch then what this has it shakes the house and it’s exactly what I wanted
Fabulous subwoofer. The best I’ve ever had. Matched perfectly to the rest of the Martin Logan speakers I have. Connected with XLR cable. The music is phenomenal in the movies sound better than in the movie theater.

I bought this monster to replace and old Outlaw Audio LFM-1. New subwoofer was easy to install using my existing subwoofer cable. Once I dialed it in using its ARC room correction software, I noticed an noticable positive difference in the low-end. Wow! Tweaking the subwoofer's adjustments is easy using MartinLogan's app on my iPad. Don't have to use subwoofer's physical controls.

Great sound for the price. It is definitely a step up from the 1000 I had previously.

This is a great sub for a smaller area. It looks nice and has a nice sound. However, its way overpriced and there are much better options.
