About this product
UK-born, Lisbon-based DJ, producer, songwriter, and activist Megatronic joins the Razor-n-Tape roster with her 'Do I Belong To You?' EP, a bold statement of her soulful and visionary sound. Side A opens with the deeply emotive 'The World' featuring soulful and melancholic vocals by Stavros, then moves to the pulsating and freewheeling groove of 'Nuffin' But LUV' (co-produced by Jitwam), and finishes with the jazzy vibes of 'Organic', with Meg's sultry spoken poetry floating over live instrumentation. On the flip side two superlative remixes by heavyweights Jimpster and Kiko Navarro take Meg's music straight to the dance floor, with Jimpster bringing in his signature rich deep textures to 'Been Thinking' and Kiko Navarro delivering an acid afro-house banger of a mix on 'The World'. The line-up is completed by bassist Steve Vawamas and drummer Alessio Spallarossa (Sadist). After having released 5 albums and toured incessantly in support of them, Mastercastle are ready to come back with their new effort 'Wine Of Heaven'. Produced by Pier Gonella at MusicArt Studios, the band composed and recorded a bunch of songs directly in the studio with no pre-production, with the intention of keeping intact the spontaneity of the 9 chosen ones. They were able to come up with very innovative sounds by using low tuned instruments and progressive keyboards, as well as an intriguing lyrical concept centered around wine as our spirit and lifeblood. Strong riffs, virtuoso guitar solos and captivating female vocals are just some of the ingredients that make this album special. An album that is not to be missed!
![Mu-Ziq - Xtep - 12-INCH SINGLE [12 inch Vinyl Single]](https://pisces.bbystatic.com/image2/BestBuy_US/images/products/b106ed95-89cf-47d7-bb4f-a9b148c69b4a.jpg;maxHeight=422;maxWidth=264?format=webp)
Twelve inch vinyl pressing of this 2013 single. Mike Paradinas's µ-Ziq solo project has been quiet for a while. However, with 'XTEP', he makes a welcome return from hiatus, delivering a gentle taster for the 2013 µ-Ziq album due this summer. In stark contrast to a large percentage of his previous work, XTEP is joyous all the way through. These five compositions abandon the furrow-browed quest for cutting-edge exploration, exchanging it for an altogether more carefree and fun approach, with only the footwork-influenced 'Monj2' directly referencing any current electronic influences.
