Q: Does it includes the keyboard??
A: To echo what the community has said, this Surface Pro does in fact come with the Platinum Type Cover.
Q: Do you need to buy a mouse with this laptop?
A: Yes, you do need to buy a MS mouse separately. The touch pad on the keyboard works great. Also I bought a Logitech mouse for 20$ to speed up working with PowerPoint and Word.
Q: What version of the Core i5 is installed?
A: Intel Core i5-7300U
A: Embedded Mobile Broadband is the ability the Surface Pro has to connect to a Mobile Broadband device via Wi-Fi. Mobile Broadband devices use cellular data to help you connect to the internet. This feature is handy when you need to be online while you're on the go. Mobile Broadband devices are purchased separately. The model we are looking at today is the latest, and most current model of Surface Pro there is. We offer several other current (AKA latest) models of the device with different specifications such as RAM, processor and SSD capacity. The Surface Pro 2, Surface Pro 3 and Surface Pro 4 are not the latest models of the Surface Pro. The latest Surface Pro is called "Surface Pro," and has many updated design features and updates since the previous versions including style, kickstand, size, and battery performance. This version of Surface Pro can easily replace any laptop, providing you with full tablet and laptop performance.
Q: Hi how long will this item be on sale?
A: I saw on Microsoft's website that it's on sale until September 15, 2018, while supplies last. I think it is a Microsoft promotion, not just in Best Buy. I thought I saw 8/29/18 on this website but can't find the info now. Hope this helps.
A: No HDMI port, you need to get an adapter for that. No full size SD Card, only micro-SD slot, you'll have to get a dock for that as well. I simply plug my camera into the USB port and transfer directly, I don't like taking the SD card out of the camera every time I need to transfer pictures...it also saved me money for an adapter.
A: The i5 processor is a dual core i5-7300U with 3.5GHz Max Turbo power.
A: I did not use the free trial that was included. The window defender seems to do just fine.
