Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 (13.5-inch) review: a few steps forward and one big step back Microsoft made a few updates to the Surface Laptop, and I’m very sad about one of them

Delivery was a day before expected. No damages on the device or accessories.
Great tablet! My only complaint is lack of a USB port, only has USB-C port. Can get a hub to plug in for USB ports, so not a deal breaker. Fast processor, sleek design, and light weight. Great for travel.

Is Microsoft Surface the best bang for your bucks? Perhaps not. But for the users with specific needs, nothing can beat the surface. Responsive touch screen, ease of stylus, efficiency of Windows and portability are the strengths. I have used Surfaces for 5+ years (Pro 5, Pro 7 and now Pro 8) and each time I upgraded to a better model. I must say, what you is what you get. All the unexpected and frustrating hiccups you get with lower models, I am not experiencing with Pro 8. Word of advice: always purchase a model with a higher SSD than 128GB - your storage fills up really quickly even with minimal number of apps. Once your storage is at maximum, no matter what you do, you cannot reduce it and will end with myriad of daily problems.

Will start off by saying I have a high end desktop as well as a laptop, but this pro 8 really does it for me. Super convenient with traveling for work. Can type notes, edit documents and even choose to hand write my notes with windows white board. The i5 model really does everything I need it to and quickly. I personally don’t see the need for the i7. It runs my plc simulator just fine and any other apps I’ve used it for

Getting work completed while on the go has improved with this tablet/pc. Before i had a samsung tab s7 and it was more difficult to do everyday tasks. If you want a mobile powerhouse, id recommend picking this.

Light, reasonably fast, very good design. You can remove the keyboard, move it to the back, and the tactile sensation of the keyboard is good, plus it has a mouse right in the middle. Monitor is also very good. Since the tablet/laptop is so slim and lightweight, I added a rugged case to it, so the corners are also protected. I already have it for more than a year. Battery life is also decent.

Great tablet/computer. Very portable. Best of both worlds. This computer is fast, and plenty of storage for me. I enjoy it both as a tablet for reading anywhere and as a computer for getting work done efficiently. Bright display.
