These specially developed tabs only take 2–3 minutes to dissolve. Thus, the cleaning performance begins right at the start of the wash cycle.
• Innovation: AutoDos with PowerDisk: Great results: AutoDos is the world’s first automatic dispensing system with integrated PowerDisk, transforming the dishwasher and exclusive powder granulate into a finely tuned system. Enjoy the freedom of a single PowerDisk that will last for an average of 20 programs without having to be replenished. Additionally, it always dispenses the right amount of powder granulate, saving you money and looking after the environment at the same time.
• Auto Open Drying: The dishwasher door opens automatically at the end of the program cycle and leaves a small gap. With the assistance of the fan, the warm moist air is transported out of the wash cabinet, allowing even challenging wash items such as plastic bowls to dry completely. Special air vent ducting protects your countertop from moisture.
• Brilliant Light: The patented door control automatically lights up 4 powerful LEDs when the dishwasher is opened. The 4 LEDs illuminate the interior with brilliant light. The area in front of the dishwasher is also well lit, significantly improving loading and unloading.
• M Touch Display: Operate your dishwasher as easily as your smartphone: Programs and cleaning options are displayed as symbols with text like an app on the large TFT color display. Tap with your finger to make a selection or swipe left to scroll through the programs and options. The TFT display is integrated into a control panel which is entirely new for a dishwasher and guides you through the user-friendly operating functions with a stripped-back design.
• Knock2Open: Not wizardry, just Miele: Knock2open turns dishwashing into a magical experience while delivering the perfect solution for handleless kitchen designs. Tap the front of the fully integrated Miele Dishwasher twice and the door will open by about 4" (10cm) automatically using a clever opening mechanism. A convenience that you can enjoy every day.
• FlexCare Glass & Bottle: Bottles, glasses, and other hollow items are held securely in the lower basket thanks to FlexCare Glass & Bottle. It ensures perfect cleaning performance in combination with the new BottleClean extra option. The water-carrying spray arms enable thorough cleaning of long, hollow items. The BottleHolder is integrated in the FlexCare cup rack and can also be used as a storage surface if required – for maximum flexibility.
• XL-Assist: Whether it’s bowls, ovenproof dishes, or pots – even bulky items are held securely in the dishwasher basket thanks to XL-Assist. Large items can be positioned quickly in the lower basket and small bowls are easily placed below them. Both sets of items are thoroughly cleaned. The Miele XL-Assist is flexible and can easily be folded down if not used. This means that you can perfectly load your Miele dishwasher with all kinds of items.
• Straw Clean: StrawClean enables you to thoroughly clean reusable straws of different lengths. Thanks to the practical height adjustment feature and intelligent water flow, all kinds of straws are hygienically cleaned. Whether they are long, short, bent, straight, made of glass or metal, all kinds of reusable straws are held perfectly in the StrawClean.
• 3D MultiFlex Tray: We have improved the cutlery tray, so it can now also accommodate small dishes, such as espresso cups. The 3D MultiFlex Tray has a sunken central section and two side sections. The left-hand section can be pushed to the right to create space for tall wine glasses in the upper basket. The depth of the right-hand section can be adjusted to easily accommodate large utensils and small cups, bowls, or plates.
• Timer with EcoStart: Miele dishwashers now work even more intelligently. "With EcoStart you can protect the environment and make use of time variable tarifs, leaving the selection of the cheapest electricity tarif for the particular running time, to your appliance." You can program three different tarifs and only have to determine the latest possible finish time. The dishwasher will choose the cheapest starting time within the time window provided.
• Half Load: You can use your dishwasher with a clear conscience even when it's not full: In almost all standard programs, your dishwasher measures how many dishes are inside the chamber and precisely adapts the water consumption accordingly. With automatic load sensing, there is no longer any need to wait until the dishwasher is fully loaded.
• Perfect Glass Care: Brilliant GlassCare washes glasses gently. China & Crystal program cleans at just 113°F(45°C). The FlexCare Glass Holder with soft silicone cushion holds wine glasses gently but securely. Patented AutoOpen drying opens the dishwasher door automatically at the end of a program cycle. Glasses are dry, they do not have to be polished manually – and our perfectly matched cleaning products with glass protection formula provide the best possible care.
• Sensor Dry: SensorDry intelligently adapts the program for excellent drying results and to prevent damage to kitchen furniture. A sensor checks the load and measures the temperature inside the chamber and the room temperature. The program is then adapted accordingly, e.g., by modifying the rinse temperature. The aim: To stop condensation forming on cabinets and to reduce energy consumption and running time without compromising on consistent drying.
