Two nations, Azuria and Vermeil, are on the brink of ruin as a crystal encroachment spreads across the land. A mysterious egg hatches two Skyscale Rathalos, legendary monsters tied to a prophecy of destruction from a war that took place 200 years ago. Players take on the role of the heir to Azuria, the kingdom’s sole Rathalos Rider and leader of the Rangers.
