Mozart / Marthan - Mozart Project - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Raised upon the death of his parents by the fearsome domestic dragon whom Heaven gave him for a sister, Pip (Philip Pirrip) seems destined for the obscure existence of a young villager without fortune. This is to count without the benevolence of the tutelary deities who watch over his childhood. Because Pip has the privilege of living in the midst of singular creatures whose very existence gives credence to the belief in miracles first of all, there is the good-natured smile, the protective and accomplice friendship of his brother-in-law, the blacksmith Joe Gargery, then the terrifying but soon miraculous meeting of Abel Magwitch, a convict with a big heart, emulated by Jean Valjean, who will know how to return his modest benefit a hundredfold. But above all there is the picturesque Miss Havisham and her dazzling protege, Estella. Estella with the predestined name, whose cold and fascinating beauty both exalts and despairs young Pip InchI looked at the stars and thought that it would be awful for a man dying of thirst to turn his head. Face to them and find neither help nor pity in this scintillating multitude. For the Inchgreat hopesInch which bring young Pip are not the prosaic aspirations of Victorian England, it's search for comfort or respectability, but rather the powers of dreams which make us seek happiness beyond Wisdom.

With outstanding melodies, atmospheres and performances - Ages' second album InchUNCROWNInch, embraces the legacy from the 90's

For his new CD InchMusic is the best consolationInch, trumpeter Joachim K. Schäfer uses a quote by Martin Luther as the title. And the choice of music is also comforting baroque concertos - mostly in major key - by Telemann, Albinoni, Vivaldi and others, interspersed with Bach chorale arrangements. He has chosen the organist Matthias Eisenberg as his virtuoso accompanist, and the two of them have chosen the Grünlichtenberg church for their recording, where there is a romantic organ by Christian Friedrich Göthel from 1867. This is not only a beautiful historical instrument, it is also in the Romantic tuning on concert pitch a = 432 Hertz. Joachim K. Schäfer is a great advocate of this lower tuning, as it was common in the 19th century (today's tuning to 440 hertz and even higher was only developed in the 20th century to bring more brilliance and tonal sharpness to the orchestra). In Schäfer's opinion, the lower tuning corresponds much more to the natural vibration conditions found in nature - the instruments sound better and the listeners also react with a much greater sense of well-being.
