Limited 180 gram vinyl LP pressing of this classic album from the British rock legends. The original vinyl packaging has been lovingly replicated with special care. Pink Floyd and filmmaker Barbet Schroeder's collaborative effort resulted in the band's first soundtrack album in 1969. Ten, the debut album that sold 12 million copies and introduced the world to Pearl Jam in 1991, will be reissued on March 24, 2009. The reissue of Ten serves as the launch of a planned two-year catalogue re- campaign leading up to the band's 20th anniversary in 2011. Limited vinyl LP pressing. Ten is the debut studio album by Pearl Jam, released on August 27, 1991 through Epic Records. Following the disbanding of bassist Jeff Ament and guitarist Stone Gossard's previous group Mother Love Bone, the two recruited vocalist Eddie Vedder, guitarist Mike McCready, and drummer Dave Krusen to form Pearl Jam in 1990. Most of the songs began as instrumental jams, to which Vedder added lyrics about topics such as depression, homelessness, and abuse. Ten was not an immediate success, but by late 1992 it had reached #2 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album produced three hit singles InchAliveInch, InchEven FlowInch, and InchJeremyInch.
