Run way to hot.
MSI is my brand and I wanted to love this, but heating is a big problem in the current model. The keyboard is scalding hot, and the fan is no stop cycling up and down. And this is not under load, I'm talking about just having it on the desktop with a browser open. Using the GPU it's full blast 100% on fan for any game. 1. There is no way this thing will last with it's temps. If it's this hot new what will happen when it's even a little dusty at 2 years. And no other gaming laptop I've owned has had this issue (regardless of thin-ness). My GT72 Dominator still runs icy cool. 2. You have no manual control over the fan any more. You use to be able to set a minimum fan speed in the MSI control to keep it from going to zero then to max every 15 seconds. Now you have no granular control. I'd rather have a 25% fan setting to keep it from revving non stop (again this is just sitting on the desktop not even gaming) It is otherwise everything I want but I can't get past the heating issues so I returned.

Great deal for the price with discount. More than enough power for the typical user. Crisp display. 2 USB-A and 2 USB-C ports. Great build quality. My last MSI laptop lasted 12 years.

Very solid gaming laptop. A little noisy on demanding games but other than that it is great. Runs everything at near max.
