Wanted faster internet for my switch but a usb c to ethernet dongle I had wasnt compatible. Didnt want to wait a week for the nintendo one, and this one was $10 cheaper so I gave it a shot. Works great! Instantly recognized and working by my switch in dock mode, thanks!

I use this to plug the internet cord into my Nintendo Switch to play smash ultimate. I like to play smash ultimate because it is fun to play. I also enjoy the orange and green light on the adapter so you know it is working.

Got a new router that due to it’s extensive software can slow down my internet speed, this adapter was a lifesaver as I can connect it to either if my laptops and speeds them io!

Purchased this to connect my office laptop to the router with Ethernet cable. This gave a much faster and reliable network connection. It installed easily and worked with Windows 10 operating system with no problems. Very satisfied, will buy again from this manufacturer,

This is a must have if you only have a laptop that doesn't have an ethernet port. When setting up a network, I needed a wired wired connect, and my laptop didn't have an ethernet port, so this fixed my issue.

Got this to connect my aftermarket switch dock to my hub and it works perfectly. Plugged right in and worked immediately.

It's a cord works fine don't plug it sideways. If you have a USB and need an Ethernet this will work.

DO NOT BUY THIS! I was naive to think that this could get me atleast 100 mbps, when it doesn't even get me to 10. It's not an internet issue either, because my internet speed is usually amazing. I had to buy an ethernet adapter because it was cheaper than a NIC. But I was severely disappointed to find out that this scam doesn't even get me to 10 mbps

TLDR: This thing saved my rear end and my wallet, works flawlessly! I came home from work one night to a PC that said I had no ethernet plugged in (Which I did). So I go through some basic trouble shooting only to find out the ethernet port/card on my motherboard died. So, I'm freaking out thinking I had to replace a motherboard or buy a PCI-E ethernet card. Well after doing research and consulting a friend with more tech experience, I came to find this gem. Instead of paying $70-$120 for the other solutions to my problem, this works wonders for a fraction of the price! It was plug-and-play as well as it didn't impact my online gameplay. I ran a speed test from google and got over 350mb/s! Thank goodness for this little dongle.

This is a plug-and-play ethernet adapter that works very well with my Dell laptop that does not have a built-in ethernet plug. While working from home, I am often on video calls, and the ethernet makes a solid connection that doesn't drop out like my normal wifi. Overall, this is a great product, and I'm very happy with it. You do have to buy a separate cable to connect from your router to the device (my router came with one).

Got this to hardwire my gaming laptop at home to get the best ping possibly in games. I’d read reviews about many and one of the major complaints about these adaptors I came across was they can get pretty hot, some to the point of ruining themselves. I’ve used this one non stop since I got it and have not had any problems. No heat, no shut downs, etc. for the price it’s hard to beat if you got a laptop that doesn’t have an Ethernet port. No drivers or anything needed. Just plug into your Ethernet cable and an available USB port and you’re good to go, maybe just need to enter your internet password if you got one.

The Insignia USB to Ethernet adapter is a great value and adds an important capability that is sadly missing from most modern laptops. This product is competitively priced and unmatched in quality. It works on Windows 10 without any additional software.

I was unaware my new Asus laptop didn’t have the normal cat6 Ethernet receptacle, so i was unable to connect it to the internet. I saw this product on Best Buy’s website and decided to get it. It works great. The wifi itself works great, but the persistent Ubuntu flash drives I made were unable to find the right driver to run the RealTek wifi adapter. I needed this adapter to reach the internet and get the right driver loaded.

Definitely a product to have since many new laptops do not come with Ethernet port anymore. I bought this so I can use my laptop as "Wired" and get better usage of Internet than use WIFI only. Also this is a USB 3.0 so that definitely works. I have used this adapter to connect to the modem directly to test speed and I was able to get 350mbps (my package is 400mbps). Definitely must have product for devices that does not have ethernet port.

My laptop doesn't have an Ethernet port and I was having issues with the wireless connection so I needed this. Worked perfectly. It's plug and play with Windows 10 so that was great especially because my laptop doesn't have a CD drive. Price was reasonable so it was a no brainer to choose this over the other brands.

My daughter like many other kids is attending school from home via distance learning. The Chromebook she uses was having trouble connecting to our home network via wifi and my trouble shooting efforts to that point were not working. I bought this ethernet adapter to bridge the gap while I continued to trouble shoot the wifi problem. It worked immediately like a charm and she was once again connected to our network. It was a cheap and easy solution to our problem. We have since solved the wifi problem but I'm keeping the adapter as a backup!
