Microwave looks great and works great. Having no problems or issues. Heats food/cooks food as a microwave should. Fingerprint resistance on the stainless steel is not just a selling gimmick it actually works and will continue to work as long you don't apply harsh chemical cleaning compounds to remove the properties of it. Whenever there is something there to clean just use a soft cloth or paper-towel to clean it (preferably the soft cloth). Only thing I regret, is not choosing the product model with sensor cooking, but that's on me. This microwave is an excellent buy for a large size cooker.

It's brand new, so I could change my mind in a few months if it breaks down. But, so far this is an excellent microwave. I was also pleasantly surprised about how easy it was to install - my son did it for me and it took less than an hour with me helping him. It's definitely a two-person job. It's an over-the-range, and I was worried about venting because I don't have a vent to the outside and it's hard to tell from the description how the vent works. The vent came already set up for recirculating and venting out the top front which was exactly what I needed (and probably what most people need for an over-the-range microwave). Once installed, don't forget to remove the little plastic vent covers. The first photo is looking from the top down, so you can see where the vent is. I'm putting a 4 for quality because it's not a high-end microwave but seems good so far. 5 for value because it was a good price for a Whirlpool (which never seems to go on sale!) Super easy to use.

I bought this Whirlpool to replace a 10 year old over the oven whirlpool model. This model is easy to use just like the prior model. It was also easy install since it used the same wall bracket as prior model. Took me about an hour and a half to unpack, install, drink a beer and clean up. This model seems to be heat up food super well. Oddly neither Lowes nor Home depot had any over the oven microwaves that weren't super expensive. Best Busy my surprise had a better selection and matching prices than all the competitors in my city (50 mile radius). Very pleased with my purchase.

Excellent basic microwave. Everything about this microwave is solid. The only reason I gave it four stars is because it doesn’t have any extra features or stand out elements. The design is very clean. It has blue numbers that auto dim when not being used. It comes with a very good installation kit. I was replacing a similar model, but I still had to replace the mounting plate on the wall. You definitely need 1 or 2 helpers to install. Requires drilling through cabinets above and installing screws into studs. Templates make things straightforward. Be sure you have a correct sized spade drill bit before beginning.

I replaced a microwave with this one and was immediately aware of how quiet it is. My old one had an annoying alarm that I hated, but this one is gentle and goes off when I open the door. I like the preset timing options right inside the door. I also like being able to run the microwave while its timer is running, something I couldn't do in my old one. One thing I would have preferred would be the ability to off the turntable, but My hubby chose this model without that. I'm very happy with it overall!

Works well and has lots of features. One thing I particularly like about it is that there’s not a lot of nooks and crannies so it’s easy to keep clean. The beeping stops when you open the door, which I really appreciate because my last microwave kept beeping even when I was taking the food out. My only wish there was a way to turn off the beeping completely.

Superior size vs most models. Quiet operation. Easy to clean. Color matched other kitchen appliances exactly.

The price was right when buying the bundle. Pretty bassic microwave . Looks great and works great. No complaints.

We bought our new construction home in 2014 and it came with Whirlpool appliances, which were all on the higher end, except for the dishwasher, which seemed lower-end, but worked ok, but ended up needing to be replaced a few years ago, which I did with a higher-end one. Recently our microwave died. It made a horrible 'electrical shorting' type noise, then cut off. Attempting to start it thereafter resulted in it trying to start, then shutting off within a second. I always liked the microwave we had as it had a good amount of power, cooked well, and looked nice. I wanted to replace it with something the same size and brand so it would be a direct replacement and match our existing Whirlpool appliances. Our old microwave was equivalent to the model above this one that has the sensor cooking and alpha display, but they only sell that one in 'fingerprint resistant' stainless steel, which I found out looks nothing like the regular stainless steel we have now. I know this because I ordered one and it did not match at all, so I had to return. So I went with this one, even though it seems like it's not as advanced as our old one. Truth is, I've never used any of the sensor stuff and strangely, our old one did not have multi-stage cooking which is something most have and I always wished ours had. This one does have multi-stage cooking, which makes me very happy. It also has the most beautiful, vibrant, and clear display I've seen on a microwave and it auto-dims after a while when not in use. So for me, I actually am enjoying this new microwave more than our old one. It was an exact match in fit to our old one and installation was easy. It used the same mounting bracket and lined up with the old holes in the cabinet. It looks beautiful and matches our other Whirlpool appliances perfectly. It runs a bit quieter than our old one, but the beeping when food is ready is much more harsh and loud than our old one, which played more of a melody for everything rather than just beeping. Not a big deal to me though. As to cooking power, this one performs slightly better than our old one and both were 1,000 watts. I think our old one may have just been getting weak toward the end, thus the slight improvement, and that may have been what lead to its end. All things considered, I would highly recommend this model, especially if you're looking for real stainless steel.

We went ahead and got rid of the over the oven fan to install the Over the Range Microwave. It not only looks great it fit perfectly. Measurement do matter when installing these microwaves. I was able to do the measuring myself but when it was time for me to screw it down I needed help lifting it and holding it while I screwed it to the top cabinet. Its holding strong and works great. Easy to use.

I had whirlpool products before and made a huge mistake to switch to Samsung. I still have Whirlpool products outperforming newer Samsungs. My last microwave from Samsung died after 3 years. The whirlpool model is quieter and cooks more evenly. Now my kitchen is back to Whirlpool with real stainless steel and not Aluminum and plastic composites as Samsung. Magnets now stick the appliances again. No more duct tape to hang items on Samsung. Whirlpool is king.

We purchased this to replace the original whirlpool microwave. Its wonderful. No fingerprints. The fan goes on automatically if it feels to high of heat which is really a cool feature. Its spacious for larger dishes to warm and warms the food well.

Definitely a great purchase. The lights have an option for bright or night light. The fan has 3 speeds and the microwave is fairly quiet when in use. Love the sleek appearance with my new kitchen cabinets.

Love the fact that the fan turns on when excessive heat is detected. It still startles me for a second. It’s not loud but I’m just not expecting it. Heats quickly. We must have been in the microwave dark ages! What took our old one 35 seconds to heat only takes 25 in the new microwave.

So far so good. Cooks food evenly and efficiently fast. Very easy and smooth to clean outside and inside. Great fingerprint resistant, sometimes you just need a little wipe but not much effort. Don't need the microwave to do much but warm food because i already have an airfryer but ultimately this gets the job done as well for its purposes.

I’ve had this microwave for almost 2 years now. Had to replace my old whirlpool that lasted 10 years. Works great and matches the esthetics of my kitchen. Hopefully it’ll be another 10+ years before it has to be replaced.
