I purchased the BrewStation Summit Ultra 12 Cup Dispensing Coffee Maker this month, and have been using it continuously for the past 2 1/2 weeks. The reason I chose this unit was for the programmability, the absence of a glass carafe, and to avoid the wastefulness and lack of flavor I find in the pod-style brewers. I am 100% pleased with this unit. It's a triple decker, in that the top is the coffee filter basket (flat bottom filters), under that is the reservoir for the brewed coffee, and the deepest part is for the water. I am 100% pleased with the temperature of the coffee and, even after 3-4 hours, does NOT taste burnt. For my purpose, which was to brew coffee in my upstairs quarters in a shared home, it has worked out perfectly. The flavor and strength of the brew is not as rich as a french press would provide, but not as desolate as a pod provides. It has a '1-4 cup' setting, but I found not selecting it provides for richer flavor. It has saved me from having human interactions with other housemates before having coffee. Cheers!

I read all the reviews before making a decision to buy this particular machine. I have had NO issues so far. I love that it keeps coffee hot for 4 hrs and I think it's very easy to use, program and set up. I'd defiantly buy it again.

I love this coffee maker. It keeps the coffee hot and fresh because there is no carafe. Also, having no carafe is one less thing to break or replace! The only negative is that it is very tall, and did not fit in the space I intended to use it.

I haven’t had a coffee maker in years. But I knew I didn’t want a kuerig. This unit is perfect for me. It’s easy to program and prep. My coffee stay warm and delicious from my morning cup to my late morning cup. I love the beverage dispenser functionality.

This coffee maker is a great cross between a single serve and a 12-cup coffee maker. You can make a full pot and serve it by the cup. The best part is the last cup does not taste burnt. Highly recommend it.

Very nice coffee maker, easy to use and coffee stays tasting great for hours. Has markings that are easy to read for water level, also easy to clean.

Feels cheap, but works. My son likes to make coffee more than drinking it...this does the job, but a little concerned on longevity since it feels like cheap materials.

Works exactly as specified and that means it's perfect! This item is low maintenance and very easy to use.

My husband loves this coffee pot. He's had three over the years. This latest one lasted only 2yrs before the dispenser quit working (tge spring or something breaks or quick working). Same with the previous one. It should last longer that 2yrs. Hence 3 stars. If give 5 if that part lasted longer.

I like not having the carafe. Makes a good, strong "pot" of coffee. Easy enough to make 1 or 10 cups. Drips a bit when pouring the water but easy clean up.

It's just as advertised and easy to use. Very easy to clean. No more worrying about carafes breaking or spilling everywhere because the lip isn't made right. The only down side is they need to redesign the top so when you lift it after use, water doesn't drip down the back of the machine, other than that - great product.

This is our first coffee maker we have purchased that doesn’t have a glass carafe. It works perfectly with less mess. The coffee stays hot for up to four hours and the coffee doesn’t taste burnt. It’s a keeper!

This is the second Hamilton Beach brew station and this one is better than the one I purchased over a year ago. Some of the reviews indicated leakage and have not experience any. I think a lot has to do with how you position your cup or mug when it dispenses coffee.

It leaks from the fountain button. No matter what size cup I use or how long I keep the cup there after releasing the pressure/fountain button, I always have to grab a paper towel and wipe off the coffee maker as well as the little puddle that it makes on the kitchen counter. Also, you have to take it apart to put water in it That was a feature that I didnt like right out of the box. I was hoping to be able to flip the lid and add water and grounds, however, there is a 6-step “procedure” for brewing from start to finish.

I love not having to worry about a glass coffee pot that one of my boys might grab and pull onto them. Or a glass pot that I might bump against the counter and it break with hot coffee in it.

Coffee every morning is very important, and with this programable brewstation, I can set it in the night and have my coffee ready by the time I wake up in the morning.

I was looking for a coffee maker that does not require a glass carafe, which can easily break, but also keeps coffee sufficiently warm after brewing. Thermal carafes do not seem to keep coffee hot enough. I did not want an individual K-cup type maker because I wanted to be able to brew coffee for my husband and guests all at once. Plus those individual cups can add up in price. This one fits the bill. The only down side is that I occasionally spill the water when I am pouring it into the maker. Also, the machine has a tall profile, so I have to pull it out from under the cabinet every time I add coffee and water. Otherwise, this machine is a great value for the price and I am very pleased with it.
