Q: I’ve owned a couple of BrewStations years ago & would like to use one again. What is the difference in the original BrewStation & the Summit model? What other models are available? Thanks!

A: Thank you for your question. All Brewstation models will function the same. The only difference will be the stainless steel accents featured more prominently on some and certain model will feature a removable reservoir. Brewstation models include: 48465, 48464, 47900, and 47950.

Q: Can I use vinager to descale this coffee maker?

A: Thank you for your question. Yes. You may use vinegar to descale the appliance.

Q: do you have it in red???

A: At this time, we do not have any red Brewstations available.

Q: Is there a setting to make iced coffee on this machine?

A: Thank you for your question. The BrewStation has four options – bold, regular, 1-4 cups and iced coffee. And the keep-hot function lets you set it for up to 4 hours.

Q: (how do i clean my new brew station BEFORE I USE IT? can i put the entire coffeee tank in hot soapy water?

A: Depends on what you mean by "tank". You can't submerge the actual coffeemaker in water, but you can submerge the reservoir (where the brewed coffee ends up) and the filter basket. The area where you initially put in fresh water is not much different than any other coffeemaker...you may be able to spray a household cleaner on a rag and wipe it clean but it's not detachable from the main "guts" of the unit so it can't get soaked.

Q: Does the Brewstation Model:48465 have a removable basket to clean out left over coffee?

A: yes

Q: Any left over coffee that's not consumed,do you simply dispense until it's empty or how do you empty it

A: Thank you for your question. You may pour the coffee from the removable coffee tank.

Q: Brew time for 12 cups?

A: I would say it is done brewing in about 15 minutes at the most and it stays hot for up to four hours depending upon how long you set it.
