I love this small switch. I have it on my desk to split out the VoiP phone and the computer since the phone is only 100 Mb speed. I would recommend this to anyone.

This NetGear 5-port switch replaced an older version of the same model. The existing one is 8-years old and still working but I wanted the newer administration and connectivity benefits of the v2 model. Install was a breeze using both the web interface and ProSafe plus utility. The switch is running fast and the console is showing a rock-solid 1000 mbps link to the other devices. Amazingly gaming performance has improved (didn't expect that). I just ordered two more for the rest of the house, and yes, those are also 8-years old and running perfectly but for a little money the LAN will be new again. Buy it, you won't be disappointed! NetGear keeps delivering awesome products!

Super easy setup -- just plug it in and go. No need to adjust any settings although that is an option if you want to give higher priority to certain ports or configure other advanced settings. Since my mesh router only has 2 physical ports I needed this device to connect to other hard wired devices (computers and printers) in my office. Very good speeds as well as I didn't notice any significant decrease in speeds vs. directly connected to the router.

Bought one for my network hub in the living room, connecting Smart TV, UDH BlueRay, and Roku. This version (metal housing) has much higher interconnect speed than its plastic counterpart. Very happy with it.

Very happy that I can add a port analyzer, VLAN the ports are separate for security and fast speed gigabit and PoE

Another great switch by Netgear!! Bought this to replace a low end switch in my garage and wanted one that would be reliable. I love the build quality, ease of use and features. Very easy to set up and log into the switch to change settings. I have several other 24 port Prosafe switches and love them!!

I was surprised how small the footprint is on this switch. It's easy to set up and works the way it's supposed to.

If you plan to use for vlan segmentation, be sure that your router supports it first, otherwise it works as expected.

I have generally had great luck with the Netgear switches and AP Devices. They are, in my eyes, one of the best switches without all the bells and whistles a network doesn't need anyway.

Easy set up. Plug and play. Internet goes in one port, it splits it out to the other four ports.

Simple effective splitter for my devices. 2 consoles,2 smart TV, 1 Modem.

Pretty straightforward. Works great and have had no connection problems.
