I have purchased and used at least 5 of these little Netgear switches during the past 10 years. None of them have ever failed, even the one that is 10 years old is still in use. They require no setup, just plug and play for when you need to expand the number of ports, such as when your main switch or router has no more free ports left.

This switch works as advertised, but when I wanted another a week later the stores were all out of stock. Now I know why; the one I got from the store was version 2 of the hardware, but the second one bought from A****n.com was a version 3. They don't even share a common wall wart. Not that it matters much, but I I now have two almost-identical units. Doesn't help when you're borderline OCD. ^_^

The easiest setup for a peripheral ever! I used it on my home-theater connection and got rid of two wireless connections so they can have access to a faster network connection. Works as advertised.

good price, very easy setup , does exactly what is suppose to do, all internet connections with Ethernet switch connect as well as if it was plugged into router.

I basically just plugged this into my router and any device I attach to it is connected to the internet. Very easy!

Very reliable. I used it for my video network and picture quality is never lost in all 4 tv's the signal is sent to.

This replaced a unit destroyed by lightning. This unit was inexpensive and had a small footprint for my small wiring closet. The one feature this unit has over the old unit is it can be wall mounted. The old unit I had to use double sided tape to mount it in the space.

I used this switch for work. It worked flawlessly. I have never had problems with Netgear's products.

Talk about an easy set up--put your plugs in, place it on a shelf, and let it get to work. One of the best Netgear products I sell. I wish all products were this effective, this easy to use. A++

This Netgear Ethernet switch works well with my Netgear 2 Ethernet input router. I have 5 Ethernet connections to the switch thus far and the switch handles all devices with no noticeable issues..

If your wanting to run multiple access points this un-managed switch does just fine

needed something small to hookup multiple computers in a limited workspace. this worked out great.
