I read reviews for the camera before I purchased it. So far, its living up to the reviews, I love it. Takes great pictures. The colors are good, the zoom works great. Videos are outstanding. Would definitely recommend to beginners that want optical zoom rather than digital, less distortion that way. Fits in pockets, lightweight but has features of the bigger and more expensive cameras.

I used the S7000 as a backup for my D7000 while traveling. Its small size makes it easy to take where the larger DSL is a problem. Picture quality was very good, but you have t give it time to focus on distant objects. I am satisfied that the S7000 filled the niche I wanted it to. It was a good buy.

Great little camera for the price. I would've like to get the camera where the flat screen swivels around so that it doesn't reflect the sunlight. I believe it was the model that was one above this one. But overall it's a great little camera and takes wonderful, wonderful pictures. Also very easy to use and operate. You really can't go wrong buying this camera.

Fairly simple to use. Have to be very still when taking extreme zoom-in shots. Very good night shots. Easy downloading to computer or cell phone (via with fi). Even easier via USB connection. Example of how good the camera digital photographs are: FULL view of The Moon with contrast of the surface including identifiable views of it's creators.

we were very impressed with the ease and quality of the pictures from this camera. we took this camera instead of our Nikon D3500 camera on our vacation due to flying and were very impressed with the compatible zoom and clarity of our expensive Nikon D3500. The size and weight of this camera is very convenient for a hike or even just a walk in a big city. we would highly recommend this camera for a beginner or even a seasoned user. We liked it so much we bought our daughter one.

Purchased this camera for my husband to take 4 wheeling, hunting and snowmobiling. It takes excellent photos, exceptionally easy to use and the buttons are big enough for arthritic fingers or gloved hands to use. Highly rccomend if you are looking for a point and shoot camera with great photos!

I purchased this camera to take on Vacation because I didn't want to carry my Full Body Camera. I was pleasently surprised. The pre-select setting work great. The automatic SCENE select function works wonderfully. The pictures were crisp and the color is vibrant. Under the "P" setting it did have a little trouble focusing. But I still love the camera.

I wanted a new point and shoot camera for a trip to Hawaii. This little camera is light weight, small and has an amazing zoom. It has a lot of features I have yet to master. In time I will learn more of them. It took great pictures without changing the settings. There is a dial on the top that I used in different situations like low light and action pictures, all worked well. The video is also very good. Glad I bought this camera.

Camera takes still photos and video. It's picture quality is great. Camera also has a zoom function. The camera is fun and compact.

This camera is perfect for carry in your pocket or small backpack when doing outdoor activities (cycling, hiking). The picture quality is outstanding and the features are great, you can't beat the zoom quality as well for such a small camera. A lot better than most high end camera phones and with the added Wi-Fi features, sharing your photos is just as easy.

Easier to use than I thought this is my first digital/smartish camera. And was unsure of me having the patience for all the settings, but that was my unfair first impression. It is forgiving of mistakes with the ability to back-up one step at anytime.

The perfect camera. Smaller than my Nikon 3300, bigger than my iPhone. Good price. Easy to use!

We purchased this camera to take on our honeymoon and it was an amazing investment. The zoom feature on this camera is amazing!!!!!! The phone is also WIFI capable... I have a Samsung phone with the NFC feature. By turning on the WIFI and uploading the app, simply tap the back of the phone with the camera and photos download to the app over the camera's WIFI. Truly mind blowing. The picture comes out very clear.

Bought this camera to replace another Cool Pix that the battery cover broke on. Big selling point is the lithium battery that is changed via USB. The viewing screen is bright and visible in bright lights. The wifi linkto iOS devices works and is easy to use, but it is a bit kluge.

This camera is just perfect to take on the go! Nice size, and easy to use! It took beautiful pictures of our trip to San Diego. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone!

I bought this camera to replace another Nikon pocket camera I had for years and loved. At first I wasn't thrilled with it as it was hard to get clear shots on the first few pictures. However I quickly learned it's nuances and really enjoy the pictures I'm getting. The zoom is incredible for a pocket sized camera. I took it to the Chicago Cubs banner raising and ring ceremonies and got some great shots, even from the upper deck! One person on social medial even thought that I was really up close the World Series trophy even though I was sitting in the upper deck. The photos included in this review don't do it justice as they appear to be diluted a little when uploaded to this site. Take the very short time to get accustomed to this camera and you'll enjoy it!

Great Pictures without using any features but zoom

Nice compact camera takes good clear pictures. I had no problem using it. The zoom work good also.

the Nikon Cool Pix S7000 is a fantastic camera. It is so small it can fit in your pocket. Takes great pictures. Recharges with a USB cord which is a great benefit. You never have to worry about dead batteries. Good flash

I am new to photo anything. This camera is very user friendly! I love the zoom accuracy. Doesn't distort or blur the image
