I’m still getting used to this camera but so far I’m pleased with the ease of use and image quality. I’m really liking the menu and the ease of use to customize user settings and the ability to save those presets. I’ve only shot a couple thousand images and every time the image quality failed, it was my fault. I need to get in more practice with the camera but I’m pleased so far. I haven’t had the chance to use the video operation of this camera. All in all, for the price, I’m pleased.

I recently bought this camera for school. I was a little hesitant at first because you need to really read the manual and go to internet to learn the tips and tricks to get the most of it. But I am happy to say that everything pays off great, the pictures are very nice, the lenses offer great sharpness and quality for the pictures. Weight wise is average when compare to other DSLRs from different brands. I can connect my Nikon to my iPhone and use it as a remote and to download pictures so I can see them better than in the camera viewfinder. Sure, there are better cameras out there, but if you are a casual photographer or a student starting to learn photography I think this is your camera.

Purchased for a trip to Israel on very short notice because I wanted a decent camera. Can't believe how quickly I was able to learn how to use the camera and take such amazing photos. This camera is perfect for traveling and for what I needed. Amazing photos and super quick to learn how to use it and all the great features.

After tons of reviews and research I decided this camera was the best value for my needs. I've only snapped a few hundred photos so far, but I think it's going to work out nicely. I just received my new Sigma 150-600 lens to pair up with it as well. Also, I would mention, I have a lot to learn about taking pictures. Lots of options and menus to sort through, but in time I will learn it. Bought the Nikon P900 in June 2019 as my first "real" camera and love it, but thought I needed to step up a bit without breaking the bank. I can already see that the D7500 is going to be able to surpass in quality, just not zoom. Overall I'm enjoying the camera as time and weather permits. Looking forward to nice days during winter and then better weather in the spring.

Though it's my first camera I can definitely say I won't need an upgrade anytime soon. I'm still trying to figure out all the settings but I've been able to take some great pics! The lenses that come with it are perfect as a startup kit for beginners. Only downside is it's not that good at low light pictures. But I would still recommend it for a general use camera.

This camera is super fast and takes beautiful photos. I love the instant transfer feature. The camera feels great in my hand and the starter lenses aren't bad. Looking forward to perfecting my craft with this great camera from Nikon.
This is actually my first camera. I've never owned a real camera before, for that reason, I cannot compare this camera with others. But one thing that I can say is that this camera is very good, you can take amazing photos, work with raw files on Lightroom and make your photographs even better. I recommend it!

I have been using Minolta/Sony cameras for about 50 years but this camera just "felt" right in my hands. While there is still a lot for me to learn to use on it, out of the box it is doing a great job taking photos of our new puppy.

From taking one of my first moon pictures in 2019 and one of my greatest back in 2021, I've been pleased with this camera and lenses included in the kit. This is my first camera buy, and it has been a great journey shooting in manual mode. Although I have lots to learn, I do enjoy the mode variety for taking shots, the auto focus does get clear images, and manually tweaking it even more so! I have not used a steady tripod to take moon shots (too heavy when using the long lens), so it was wonky trying to stabilize it. I don't use the short lens frequently, so I can't say much about it, but I do use the long lens for everything. This camera does capture true colors when set up right, and when videographing, the sound quality is amazingly clear and loud! The SnapBridge app (image cloud) should be worked on, as it's hard to have photos downloaded that way, and has issues with connecting with the camera itself so I can take camera photos from my phone with a tap. I've shot in light rain, sun, near darkness, and snow, I'd say it's weather resistant, because in 2022 I once accidentally slipped and sled all the way down a snowy hill and had to let go of the camera so I wouldn't crush it, needless to say I found it buried in snow for about a good 3 minutes while I was searching for it haha and still works fine. I'm looking for a new lens since it has a lot of wear and specks I can't get rid of as of now, but I am happy with this purchase, looking forward to more great shots.

I own two Canon 35mm SLR cameras (A-1 and AE-1) for over 40 years. Decided to go digitally and purchased the Nikon this time, because my daughter purchased a similar Nikon kit as we can share lenses. Took this camera on a trip to Alaska and took beautiful pics. I particularly like the SnapBridge feature, as it allowed me to immediately download the pics to my phone and laptop. The D7500 is user friendly. The only downside is the 18-55m lens as it has a button on the outer barrel which causes confusion on the focus and lock. I had to turn the camera off and on to reset the focus. Perhaps I need to take a camera course at BestBuy to relearn how to use this lens properly. This was a minor inconvenience. The 70-300mm lens however does not have this button and is easier to work with. Kudos to my saleswoman, Kayleigh, at the Princeton NJ BestBuy as she took the time to explain the various features and comparisons on the digital camera brand selections. She also was extremely helpful with the explanation of features, sale, and preparation of the Nikon camera and recommended accessories for my vacation trip. I will give her my future business and recommend her to family and friends who wish to purchase a camera in the future.

The Bundle package is excellent The camera is easy to use, not too heavy. Has a seal around the camera to protect against moisture and dust. The camera case and two lens were an extra plus. The photos from this camera are wonderful. I love nikon for they fit within ones budget, even if you up grade their lens for the DLSR are interchangeable. This camera is just a little smaller and lighter which makes it great for when I hike or climb with it. In search of that next great shot.

My wife and I jumped back into photography as a hobby by buying this camera and lens package. We are so glad we did. The D7500 with the included lenses (we need to adjust our cropping thinking) is almost totally flexible like a pro camera but not close to pro prices. We are getting truly clear balanced stills and maybe better than iPhone videos. Not heavy. We recommend it highly for an every day every situation shooter - the perfect bring along camera. Note - there is a learning curve with these dslr’s. And we transfer photos by removing the memory card and inserting it into our Mac - simple.

I’m very impressed with the Nikon D-7500. I could use it immediately, yet there is plenty of room to grow into it as I become more familiar with the camera. It will be a camera I’ll be using for many years. I’m grateful to have had a very knowledgeable Best Buy Associate assisting me and being able to answer all of my questions.

Bestbuy Modesto had a good selection of Nikon cameras on the table top that you can handle and operate. I was very impressed with the higher end cameras but stayed within budget picking a comfortable, built to endure d7500, incase I do go on that Antarctic trip. The kit lenses are ideal for learning the 'how tos' and pretty much all one needs for travel, bird, wildlife, portraits, astrophotography, family, events etc. Get a 10-20mm flat wide angle lens and that would pretty much fill the gaps. Don't forget lens cleaning kit if you don't already have one and some clear protective lens filters, extra battery and some high quality memory cards.
