Great lens! The macro is crisp and detailed. The color and bokeh are outstanding!

This is a solid lens to work with. The macro is incredibly impressive, I do agree with some other reviewers that if you use this lens like normal (non-macro) photography, the focus hunt does take much longer than usual as it cycles through all the ranges. Turning the limiter on does help somewhat. The build quality is great though and it is a very sharp lens. So, I can recommend it as a good lens for it's mostly intended macro purpose.

There is something about this lens I am not super keen on but can put my finger on it. It is good for what it is and it is super compact. But for macro I'd go the extra mile and grab the 105 ... for a standard 50mm I'd grab the 1.8

Good lens. Needed for Pet photos. Sharp. No complaints. Still use my 1.4 for everything else.

Outstanding lense, multiuse but will provide excellent results when used as a macro lens.

Very snappy and sharp little lens! Works well with my Nikon Z6.

I recently bought this lens to complete my Z50 kit. For a camera kit to be “complete” it must have a wide angle lens for landscapes, a macro lens for small details and a telephoto lens so I can shoot far away subjects.

Cool little lens. You can get really close to your subject and take fine detailed pictures. Also great for for creating background blur
