About this product
The transcendent symphonic breaks of Dissident founder Noel Sanger's InchFalling UpwardInch hit the streets in October of last year, and met with huge DJ and chart support, ultimately spending 8 months in and out of the Beatport Electronica top ten. It's now been given the remix treatment by two artists, both of whom we are so happy to welcome to Dissident Music! First up is Australia's Jamie Stevens, with two Aria awards under his belt (with his former band Infusion), as well as countless releases on the world's most prestigious house and techno labels. He builds a percussive, tech-infused, progressive thumper using the melodies and chords from the original mix. He's one of our favorites here at Dissident HQ, and this remix is essential for every dancefloor. Miami's Luke Hunter is another amazing producer with an impressive progressive pedigree, with releases on Jee Productions, Laika Sounds, Massive Harmony and more (including his own Typ3 Recordings). Luke takes a Inchmelodic technoInch approach, with the acid line from the original version bubbling under throughout the mix as huge melodic synth stabs drive the mix forward. Another essential we know you're going to love. We hope you love these remixes as much as we do, and as always, thank you for your support!

After the #1 chart success of InchFoundationInch earlier this year (his first breaks track in over a decade) Noel Sanger is back with another original progressive breaks tune. InchFalling Upward,Inch with it's floating orchestral strings and cinematic, emotional melodies, also gives some heavy nods to 90s rave a bouncy electro-inspired beat underpinned by an amen break, FM pads, and a distinctive 303 acid line. The result is a modern sounding slab of dance that pays reverent homage to it's early rave scene roots. An InchAmbient PassInch is also included which highlights the textures and melodies of the original. We think it's a fun, beautiful, and timeless record and we hope you like it as much as we do! As always... Thank you for your support! .

This product is an authorized manufactured on demand CD-R

Limited 180 gram red vinyl LP pressing. Includes inner sleeve featuring rare photos and a 3000-word track commentary incorporating interviews with producers Nino Tempo, James Holvay and Peter Antell. Phil Spector did not produce the tracks on this LP. They all just sound as if he might have. Spector's sessions at Gold Star Studios in Los Angeles were celebrated for their extravagance. Using massed voices, an army of musicians and cavernous tape echo, his huge productions possessed a distinct aural identity. Many record producers, songwriters and arrangers attempted to hitch a ride on the Spector bandwagon but few met with his approval. InchThere's Beach Blanket Bingo, which is you guys,Inch he told producers Charlie Greene and Brian Stone. InchAnd there's me - Fellini. Inch Here, spanning the period 1963 to 1967, are a dozen convincing mirror images of his Wall of Sound.
