OhSnap - Qi2 Wireless Charger - Crushed Orchid

Charges not only through the ohSnap phone grip but as case as well. Works with other MagSafe cases too.

It worked well just not for me. Phone got very hot whie charging and using which i do daily. Not chargers fault.

I purchased this for my non MagSafe iPhone XR after reading on the manufacturer’s website that it would still charge my iPhone via qi charging. However I could not get it to reliably work using it with or without the also purchased snapgrip or with or without a case. I tried multiple ac adapters and the snapcharge would either charge extremely slowly or in most cases actively drain my battery. I would watch the battery percentage drop while connected. At times it would not even power on at all unless I unplugged it and then plugged it back in. It also got very hot to the touch, to the point of it being painful and even after following ohsnap instructions on proper alignment with the qi charging system in my phone. It also made my phone hot and I fear it has negatively affected my battery. After the snapgrip not working with my current qi pad chargers I bought several of the snapcharge’s to replace them and had the same results with them after trying all the same steps. After contacting ohsnap for support they advised me to return them as defective, which I did. I wish that they had worked as I expected as they had a nice build quality and a small footprint. I have since read others have similar issues with MagSafe compatible and newer phones, so I don’t think it was just my phone, that and I had the issues with multiple snapcharge’s.

Very good charger, good magnet on it, very glad we purchased it and wife loves it.

I have this installed in my truck and it comes in pretty handy. Snaps on decently and charges without any issues. I would recommend getting the older 4th gen Snap Grip, as the newer 5th gen magnets aren't as strong.
