About this product
Most small subwoofers are small because something was given up. The DueVoce X8 is a 10.5-inch cube that still goes deep enough to change how a room sounds. Put it under a desk, beside the couch or in a corner, and movies pick up weight, games pick up impact, and music gets the bottom end that speakers and sound bars were never going to produce on their own. It pulls that off because one driver faces the room while a second faces the floor, and the two work together to move more air than a cabinet this size should. There is no port, so you do not get the boomy, one-note bass that gives compact subwoofers a bad name. Three dials on the back are the whole setup: how loud it plays, how low it takes over from your speakers, and how it lines up with them. Leave the power switch on and it wakes up when you start playing something, then goes back to sleep on its own. The gloss black finish means it does not have to be hidden.
Features
Full-size bass from a compact cube
At 10.5 inches on each side, this subwoofer fits under a desk, beside the couch or in a corner, and still delivers the low end your speakers or sound bar cannot reach on their own.
Active and passive woofer pair
One 8-inch driver is powered and a second moves along with it, pushing more air than a cabinet this size normally would. There is no port, so the bass stays tight instead of boomy.
Efficient digital amplifier
Up to 107dB of output from an amplifier that runs cool and draws half a watt in standby, so you can leave it switched on and ready to go.
Controls for movies and music
Rear dials set the volume, the crossover point between 40Hz and 200Hz, and the phase, so the subwoofer blends with your existing speakers instead of overpowering them.
Gloss black finish, gold-plated inputs
The piano black cabinet is finished to be seen rather than hidden, and gold-plated RCA jacks keep the connection solid. Auto-on wakes the subwoofer when you press play.
