A: Thanks for your inquiry. Ottlite lamps/fixtures do not filter out any UV being emitted. When/if LED lamps emit any/all UV it is less than any other type of lamp, because if/when there is a small amount of UV produced it is converted to white light by phosphors contain inside the lamp/LEDs.
