OWC - Express 4M2 Four-Slot USB4 (40Gb/s) External Storage Enclosure for NVMe M.2 SSDs (Enclosure with SoftRAID)

We heard you loud and clear (pun intended) when you said you loved everything about the Express 4M2 but wanted it quieter. After adding smart adaptive fans that only turn on when needed for near silent operation, we decided to give it USB4 connectivity for the optimum blend of compatibility, performance, and affordability. Now you can build a desktop/shuttle high-performance RAID with your choice of NVMe M.2 SSDs and get up to 3200MB/s performance with USB4, Thunderbolt, and USB-C Macs and PCs.

Connect and store external hard drives on your desktop with this Insignia hard drive enclosure docking station. Two slots accept SSD and HDD drives for simultaneous reading, and a USB 3.0 port allows for fast data transfer. An eject button lets you safely remove each drive when not needed, and this Insignia hard drive enclosure docking station features an LED indicator light to show the working status of each device.

OWC Express 1M2 Ultra-fast, compatible, and reliable portable USB4 NVMe SSD. Choose DIY or ready-to-run solutions. Built to maximize the incredible speed capabilities of USB4, the Express 1M2 is OWC’s fastest portable SSD. It offers the power of choice to either build a drive or select the convenience of an OWC Aura powered solution and experience data transfers up to 3836MB/s with most Macs and PCs from 2020 and newer. Creative professionals and performance enthusiasts can also enjoy highly effective uses - like editing 4K video - and flexible compatibility with millions of yesterday’s Thunderbolt and USB-C machines and devices. Anyone can put a bunch of components in a housing and call it an enclosure or a drive. Or cut corners and just focus on speed to grab eyeballs. OWC is not just anyone. We’re a group of filmmakers, musicians, designers, content creators, and parents wanting to capture and preserve that irreplaceable moment. Like all OWC storage products, the Express 1M2 underwent rigorous development testing and certification processes. It was then subjected to extreme real-world use and abuse.
