Looks good, but could have more precise fit....

Build quality is good, and appearance is just fine. However....as others have noted....there is about a 5/8 inch open gap between the trim piece and the microwave on all four sides. I think It could have been a tighter fit, but Panasonic chose to design it this way....I have grown to like it.

HAS A GAP IN THE FRONT

Installed with the panasonic microwave NN-SD681S, as recommended. It has a gap in the front that is very noticeable. This gap does not make it look like a built in. The trim kit is easy to install.

No trim matches my microwave

I bought the Panasonic NN-NG68KS and purchased three 27" trims following the manual, the match on the Panasonic website and Best Buy recommendation (NN-TK623S, NN-TK621SS AND NN-TK922SS) and none of them worked. The inside of the trim is way to big for my microwave that only measures 20 1/8" wide by 11 5/8" high. I called Encompass and they don't know and it's impossible to get anyone from Panasonic on the phone. Worst experience ever!!! One of the reasons i purchased this microwave was because it could be put in a cabinet with a trim. It was never installed, I'm returning it.

BE AWARE OF JUNK that does NOT FIT 4 in 1 Oven

DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK !!!!!! What Best Buy fails to realize is by the time you get the correct parts for the 4 in 1 Oven, its too late to send back the JUNK they recommended. Its like flushing money down the drain with this Best Buy and they know it. Imagine Best Buy, its TAKES A LOT OF TIME TO GET Parts and contractors to install. So know we have this JUNK part that DOES NOT go to the 4 in 1 Oven and we can not return it. POOR POOR options for return.

Wrong trim kit

Not a bad product but Best Buy was unable to provide the correct trim kit for the in-cabinet microwave I purchased. I was sold two different kits and neither fit my microwave. I still have not been able to source the correct trim kit. Pretty frustrated.

Not good. This is the one that was matched to microwave and fit the right dimensions od the cabinet. When received did not tif as recommended for microwave. Had to order different surround that now is smaller than cabinet. Now we wilk have to try and return this one

Bought the incorrect trim kit for my microwave - - needed a 30" had to return the 27". Best Buy did not have a 30" kit to fit my microwave brand.
