A: Dear customer, thank you for your question. Yes, the blades are replaceable. If you want Foil & Blade the model number that you will have to look for is WES9032P. If you just need only inner blades, the model number for that is WES9170P.
Q: Does the razor heat up against the skin when using and is there noticeable skin irritation?
A: No heat and no skin burns. I am shaving daily.
A: I always clean it under running warm water. Then use the cleaning station. I only use the cleaning station once a week.
Q: Does the cleaning unit use a liquid solution to clean the razor. Where does one get the solution?
A: Hello! There is a detergent specifically designed for this model. You can find it online if you look for part number WES4L03.

A: I would assume you can shave any area. Although really, most electric razors such as this one are designed for the face. I think other areas such as the bikini area would require a non-electronic razor initially to get the major hair off. Then perhaps you could use the electric razor for periodic touch-ups, but still you would probably be better off using a manual razor.
Q: how does it charge? does the razor sit in a cradle or does it get plugged in to charge?
A: the one with cleaning/charging base, the razor sits in the cradle or cleaner and the cleaner is plugged in. Or if you dont need to clean it, you can plug the charging cord straight into the razor. hope this helps!

A: You can buy 3 packs or 6 packs on Amazon for very good price. Just search Panasonic Lamdash cleaning or WES-4L03.
