Will this lense work with the GH-5 body? If not, is there a comparable lens’s for the GH-5?
Answered by Panasonic TeamThank you for your question. They're not compatible as the GH5 has the Micro Four Thirds mount system and lens use an L-mount standard specification that can be used with a 35 mm full-frame image sensor.

RTFM (of the G7): ------------------ This unit can use the dedicated lenses compatible with the Micro Four Thirds™ System lens mount specification (Micro Four Thirds mount). You can also use a lens of any of the following standards by attaching a mount adaptor. Lens | Mount adaptor Four Thirds™ mount specification lens | Mount Adaptor (DMW-MA1: optional) Leica M Mount interchangeable lens | M Mount Adaptor (DMW-MA2M: optional) Leica R Mount interchangeable lens | R Mount Adaptor (DMW-MA3R: optional) ------------------ Even if there were an adapter available, you'd suffer a 2x crop factor. If you want this lens, ditch the G7 and get perhaps a Lumix S5-II or S5-IIX.
