Q: Is one bar enough for behind a 50in. TV?
A: I would personally do a pair and play with positioning. I have 3 behind my 75. Started with 2 and it was good, but 3 made it perfect. With your size TV, I would imagine 2 will be awesome. This is 3.
Q: Can the bar light be mounted on the ceiling? Thanks!
A: Yes. It has a 3M adhesive sticker for attaching it to anything. However, it might damage drywall when you remove it.
A: 201 has the power adapter. 203 does not. 203 can be connected to an existing power adapter from another Hue Play Light bar, as they each have 3 slots to plug in additional such devices - like other Hue Play Light bars or the Hue Play Sync box.

Great addition to my Hue ecosystem
Great product! Easy to use for wall spot lighting, or mounting behind a monitor for bias lighting. These are on the pricier side, as all Hue products, but you pay for the ease of use and exceptional integration with other Hue products if you're already in the Hue ecosystem like I am.

Easy to hang, easy to use - love it
If you are just starting out with smart lights - this is the brand you want. The lights have never gone out on me, they are easily adjusted with the Google home app or the Hue app. The colors are as sharp or soft as you want them to be. You don't realize how nice it is to not need to walk to or touch a light switch until you have these lights. If you leave the house you can check on your app and adjust the lights, go to bed and forget the lights on - just tell your smart home or adjust them on your app. Carrying something out of the room and wont be going back - just tell your smart home to shut the lights off.
