Pitaka - Edge Case for iPhone 18 Pro Max / 17 Pro Max - Black Grey(Twill)

If you’re shopping for a VERY slim case that adds virtually no bulk to your phone, you need to understand that you’ll have to make some compromises when it comes to protection. It’s nearly impossible to have both an ultra-slim design and heavy-duty protection. That’s why I honestly don’t understand some of the negative reviews complaining that this case doesn’t offer enough protection. You need to understand what you’re buying and what you’re looking for. PITAKA knows its audience, and this case was never designed to provide ultimate protection. It’s meant to offer an almost-caseless feel while still providing a decent level of everyday protection. If you know anything about aramid fiber, you know how strong this material is. I’ve dropped my phone a couple of times, including onto concrete, and while the case did sustain a few scratches, my phone remained 100% intact. Would I prefer maximum protection for my phone? Absolutely! But I simply cannot stand bulky cases, especially on a Pro Max. I want to enjoy the feel and design of my phone without adding unnecessary bulk, and that’s why I chose a premium, ultra-slim case. PITAKA delivers exactly that. The build quality is simply outstanding, and in this case, I genuinely believe you get what you pay for. Sure, I’ve seen hundreds of cases on Amazon claiming to be made from aramid fiber for around $20, but I have my doubts about whether they’re actually made from genuine aramid fiber or offer the same level of quality. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this case. If you’re looking for an exceptionally slim, high-quality case that provides decent everyday protection (not heavy-duty protection) this is absolutely worth considering. I gladly paid $59 for it because it delivers exactly what I wanted. For my needs, it was worth every penny!

I just received my Pitaka case for my new iPhone18. I must say i am impressed with how elegant the "carbon fiber looking" material is. The case is very thin and light yet appears very rigid and durable. Very happy with this purchase!

This case is unbelievably thin, it does not add any bulk to my phone, and I love it. It feels great in the hand too.

Great and minimal slim case with a carbon fiber pattern. Protects as much as you can expect from a case this thin.

This case is really good for aesthetics, not protection. Also, it scratches pretty easily I would only recommend this case if you just want something aesthetic to look at, not for protection. If you want this for protection, good luck. You’re going to be contacting Apple Care in a few months for a repair
