About this product
QED's Genesis Silver Spiral is a high-end speaker cable developed through decades of scientific research. With extremely low resistance, it allows amplifiers to maintain superior control over speaker drivers, especially at low frequencies. This cable isn't just a connection — it's a vital part of any audiophile-grade audio system. Factory pre-terminated options come with Airloc Metal 4mm Banana Plugs. Its large cross-sectional area reduces voltage drops and preserves the amplifier’s damping factor, ensuring accurate control of speaker movement and minimizing distortion. The cable’s unique tubular structure with an air core drastically lowers loop inductance, enabling tight bass and high-frequency clarity. To combat the skin effect at high frequencies, the cable is constructed from multiple smaller silver-plated, oxygen-free copper strands. The use of low-dielectric constant materials ensures low capacitance, preventing potential amplifier instability. Genesis Silver Spiral offers both power and finesse for critical listeners and premium installations.
