The BZ7 plate integrates seamlessly with the unique shape of the Z7/Z6, using proprietary hardware that threads into the camera's 1/4"-20 socket. Once installed, it remains rigid and motionless, ensuring your camera stays secure and steady. The plate features a standard 1.5" wide RRS dovetail railing, enabling it to lock consistently into any RRS quick release clamp or compatible Arca-Swiss clamp. Notably, the BZ7 plate is fully compatible with the Nikon FTZ adapter, allowing photographers to utilize their existing F-mount lenses. It also includes an integrated anchor for attaching a conventional camera strap directly to the plate, as well as a QD socket for quick installation of QD-type camera straps. Designed with user convenience in mind, the BZ7 plate allows full access to the battery door and enhances the ergonomics of the Z7/Z6 body's grip for comfortable handling. It also forms part of a modular set, accepting a custom CNC machined L-shaped component that transforms it into a comprehensive L-plate with both horizontal and vertical RRS dovetail rails. The Really Right Stuff BZ7-L Set offers photographers the flexibility to swiftly switch between landscape and portrait orientations without the need to recompose their image. It includes a second QD socket, an integrated hex key, and unrestricted access to the left side port doors of the camera. The L-component can be adjusted up to 1.25" away from the left side of the camera, facilitating full cable tethering while shooting in portrait orientation.
