The replacement battery itself gets five stars. I knocked the rating down a notch because BestBuy's description does not have the critical information I needed to select the correct battery. It doesn't include dimensions nor the type of terminals. It did not include my UPS model in the list of compatible APC models. I had to search information from other sources to be sure the RBC17 would fit my UPS. Installation was easy. Just be careful to not damage the terminals while disconnecting and reconnecting the wires.

Battery fit the APC unit perfectly. Plug the unit in and it maintains a charge to back-upt my computer. I would highly recommend this battery replacement.

This OEM replacement battery made my APC surge protector work like new. Installation was easy. Much less expensive than replacing the entire battery backup device.

I need a replacement battery and didn't want to trust a 3rd party so I went with official. Great.

Rather than buy an entire unit I got the replaceable battery. It was a bit difficult to get the old one out but once I got the hang of it it was fine. Of course if you have computers routers etc the back up is very good to have, I have three.

I have an APC UPS set up for my computer. Another one for small appliances and even a small old one to keep me from having to reset my digital clocks. One of the units has performed properly for more than 7 year without replacing the battery. My other UPS's have larger loads and the power in my area goes off frequently for short periods. To keep my older unit dependable I replaced the battery before the suggested replacement time. I bought a generic battery for a really good price. The battery lasted 2 years and exploded in the unit while the other APC batteries were still performing well. Now I only buy genuine APC batteries when I need them.

Installed in my APC ups. No tools needed. Fit/function,,perfect. Slipped right in, powered up and charged right up.

Back up battery still working and fits like the original. Fingers crossed it works as long!

Item in box matches picture of product. Heavy if not familiar with it looking so compact. Re-evaluate size, weight, and power depending on your particular application.

Replacement battery for UPS backup. Old battery died after a number of years of service. Backup essential for computers, gateways and wireless hubs Battery slid right in and worked - like plug and play. Easy to use. Not inexpensive but cheaper than buying a new UPS.

So glad I did not have to buy a hole new back-up system, just this replacement battery which was in stock the next day. This system has protected my computer system from power surges and blackouts (gives me time to properly shut down computer and secure data). A must-have at a good price.

I put the battery into the unit and started it letting it charge as directed and then connected my electronic devices and it worked OK, I have not had a failure yet. I hope it works as long as the old battery.

If you have a good UPS but it's not performing as normal, (mine makes a warning cheep, yours may have something similar or a light) this is a great option to renew it but keep the costs down.

Bought a nice UPS that I can replace the battery with, instead of having to replace the entire UPS. The first battery lasted me a good 7yrs. I'm expecting the same for this one.

I brought this for my Apc 750 back up it Fits perfect. The life of battery I get about 2.5 years plus ,it could be longer but I have a lot of security cameras and computers etc Plugged in.

A few weeks in no issues, quick 3 minutes to replace. Very happy and a third of the cost of a backup unit. Brought two so far.

Had to replace the battery in my back up battery for my computer. once the new battery was received and installed in the back up battery everything is now working as usual.

Previous battery lasted for several years which made it a simple choice to replace it with the same. Case still looks new so no need to get a new one. The best!

So happy all I had to do was replace the battery!!! Great for the environment and the pocketbook. Super simple to remove the old battery and put in the new one.

So happy I found this! I didnt know bestbuy had these batteries for my UPS. I will come back in five years!
