Reks - More Grey Hairs - VINYL LP

If you've been rocking with Reks since 2009, you already know that More Grey Hairs is a pivotal piece of his catalog. More Grey Hairs is a project that captured a moment in time-a collection of raw lyricism, real talk, and timeless production. With beats from the legendary DJ Premier and Statik Selektah, plus guest features from Skyzoo, Termanology, and more. For Reks this album stands as one of his proudest works and now it will finally be available on vinyl for the first time ever.

Recorded Live in Europe, These Three Great Sonatas for Cello and Piano By Three Composers - Francesco Cilea, Leon Boellmann and Alberic Magnard - Who Straddled, or Nearly So, the 19th and 20th C., Are Played By the Veteran Talents of Cellist Simca Heled and Pianist Jonathan Zak. Mr. Heled and Mr. Zak, Together with Pianist Uri Pianka, Founded the Superb Yuval Trio, a Famed Grouping That Persisted for Over 25 Years. All Three Works Are Rarely Heard and Not Often Recorded, Making This Recording a Valuable Document of Too Little-Known Stellar Craftsmanship Played with Welcome, High Musicianship.

If Anything, the first full-length by Greys, is the young quartet's own warped update of vintage post-punk; frenetic guitars running against walls of noise, held together by sharp strands of melody. Written over the summer of 2013 and recorded in ten days at Toronto's Candle Recording studio, If Anything is a fulfilling aftershock of noise rock, immediately arresting and bursting with confidence.
