Q: Do you install mirror front and rear dash cams
A: the mirror dash cam fits over your existing mirror with rubber straps, so there is no real installation for this part. the rear camera actual needs to be installed by mounting the camera to a spot on the back of the vehicle (usually near the license plate), and running wires along your baseboards and interior to reach the front rear view mirror. There is also a red wire by the rear camera that needs to be spliced into your reverse light wires. So yes, there is a certain amount of installation that needs to be done, maybe 30 minutes to an hour time frame
A: For my car yes I drill because I wanted to be in the center but you can put it with your rear plate screws so you don’t have to make a whole and you can run the wires with the license plate lights
