About this product
Vinyl LP pressing. You're Doomed. Be Nice. Is Rob Crow's first album since his heavily publicized withdrawal from music - specifically the toxic byproducts of the lifestyle of a touring professional musician attempting to survive in an industry of diminishing returns. Rather than perform, record, and mix every note himself - a trademark of his previous solo endeavors - Crow formed Gloomy Place, a band made up of close friends that includes another member of the beloved Heavy Vegetable. Recorded and mixed by Ben Moore (Hot Snakes), You're Doomed presents a fascinating dichotomy dynamic, eclectic prog-pop backing alarmingly confessional, often acerbic lyrical themes. This juxtaposition makes for an album of confrontational yet accessible songs filled with wry wit and emotional depth. Whereas Crow's previous solo endeavors acted primarily as low-key stopgaps between Pinback albums, the stakes are markedly higher here - and it shows in both the depth of songwriting and impressively labyrinthine performances. Gone are the 60-second blink-and-you-missed-them acoustic sketches that became a staple of Crow's solo albums; You're Doomed is filled with the kind of thoughtful attention to detail and craft that was a hallmark of Pinback's legendary catalog. You're Doomed. Be Nice. Is the diamond carved out of a particularly rough chunk of Rob Crow's life - one that's either the first gem of an inspired second act, or the culmination of an undeniably influential career. In either case, the quality of it's cut will last a lifetime. Album Tracks 1. Oh, the Sadmakers 2. This Distance 3. Business Interruptus 4. Paper Doll Parts 5. Light on 6. Quit Being Dicks 7. No Shadow Left Behind 8. Rest Your Soul 9. Yie Ar 10. Autumnal Palette 11. Red Alone 12. Unreliable Narrator 13. What We've Been Doing While You've Been Away

Double red splatter vinyl LP pressing. Etched side D. Housed in gatefold jacket. Close your eyes and picture this... An apocalyptic alternate reality leaves Australia under the iron fist of the despotic King Baphicho for the second time. In defiance, revolution has begun brewing with Clara Carne-a member of the InchUnholy TrinityInch-at the helm of the resistance. All the while, the paths of an army from Heaven, a detective, and a disgraced ruler converge at an inflection point where Gun Fu shootouts, double-crosses, and drama ensue. This action is set to a soundtrack of inventive, insidious, and infectious metalcore by Melbourne's own The Gloom in the Corner Mikey Arthur [vocals], Jesse Abdurazak [guitar], Paul Musolino [bass], and Joshua Clinch[drums]. Sure, it could be fodder for an Anime epic, your new favorite NETFLIX series, or an open-world video game. However, this is the story told via The Gloom in the Corner's fourth full-length offering, Royal Discordance. Album Tracks 1. The Problem with Apocalyptic Tyranny 2. You Didn't Like Me Then (You Won't Like Me Now) 3. Painkiller Soliloquy 4. Short Range Teleportation (A Guide to Guerrilla Warfare) 5. Nope (Hollow Point Elysium) 6. Angel's Wrath Whiskey 7. Shadow Rhapsody II 8. Assassination Run 9. That's Life (Carry Me Home) 10. Army of Darkness 11. Love I A Quaver Through the Pale 12. Love II A Walk Amongst the Poppy Fields 13.

Limited opaque red colored vinyl LP pressing. Things that don't make sense at first often make sense later. In the creation of art, when the process is left up to the subconscious mind, when there is no preconceived concept, patterns still always emerge. Themes and recurring images, blurred in the moment, later become clear. This is the case with The Faint's sixth album Doom Abuse, an unexpected but also inevitable addition to their compellingly unusual catalog of music. Album Tracks 1. Help in the Head 2. Mental Radio 3. Evil Voices 4. Salt My Doom 5. Animal Needs 6. Loss of Head 7. Dress Code 8. Scapegoat 9. Your Stranger 10. Lesson from the Darkness 11. Unseen Hand 12. Damage Control
