Q: I have read good things about Rocketfish but I don't understand the pricing on these. Compare to the Belkin BV112050-06 for example which has similar specs. How do these compare and what makes this a premium protector...

A: Lighting, Power/noise filtration, braided cable, MUCH higher build quality, USBs, included extensions, higher guarantee, higher joules rating, smaller size profile.

Q: How and where does the separate 4 port usb charging hub connect?

A: Hi JChicken, Thank you very much for buying our 7 outlet/6 USB Surge Protector Strip. There is a power supply on the other end of the cord. It can plug in to the main surge protector, or any other outlet you like. It can be used totally seperatly if you like. Arely R. - Rocketfish Support

Q: How long is the cord? Does it have a right angle plug?

A: The cord length is 6 feet, and it does not have a right angle.

Q: If the 4 port USB hub is plugged directly into a wall outlet, will it still provide surge protection or does it have to be plugged into the strip to provide surge protection?

A: The power strip has a plug for the USB hub so that you can get the benefit of the surge protector. If it is plugged directly into the wall outlet, it will not have the surge protection.

Q: What is the output of the USB ports?

A: I use them to for anything that has a USB charger or lighting up a usb powered led strip.
