• Hi JChicken, Thank you very much for buying our 7 outlet/6 USB Surge Protector Strip. There is a power supply on the other end of the cord. It can plug in to the main surge protector, or any other outlet you like. It can be used totally seperatly if you like. Arely R. - Rocketfish Support

• They have their own power plug in thing. It’s about the size of a router’s or other internet hub’s wall wart.

• It is a separate aoutlet all together to u can plug it into any oulet you want to I pluged mine next to my night stand and plugged in my usb
