Members include fiddler Tammy Rogers, bassist Mike Fleming, guitarist Kelvin Damrell, mandolinist Brent Truitt, and banjoist Richard Bailey. The band has recorded four albums on the Rounder Records tag and one independent live album recorded at The Station Inn. After playing at bluegrass festivals they signed to Rounder Records and released a self-titled debut in 2008, featuring new lead singer Chris Stapleton. The album peaked at #57 on the U.S. Billboard Top Country Albums chart. The group was nominated for a Grammy Awardin 2009 for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for their song InchBlue Side of the Mountain.Inch In 2010, the group received two nominations for it's second album, Reckless. It was released on August 10, 1979, following Jackson's critically well-received film performance in The Wiz. While working on that project, Jackson and Quincy Jones had become friends, and Jones agreed to work with Jackson on his next studio album. Recording sessions took place between December 1978 and June 1979 at Allen Zentz Recording, Westlake Recording Studios, and Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles, California. Jackson collaborated with a number of other writers and performers such as Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Rod Temperton. Five singles were released from the album.
