A: I haven't noticed any increase in moisture in the room air. There is no way to vent this model.
A: I checked yesterday and it takes a double breaker both 30 AMP. 220 current. I hope this helps.
Q: Does the water collect in a chamber to be emptied, or is there an option for a permanent drain?
A: It is configurable for either a tank or permanent drain. It comes with the hose.
Q: Does the dryer come with the door hinge on the right or the left?
A: Mine came with the door hinge on the left. It was not difficult to change it to be on the right. It requires a phillips screwdriver and a socket set and it took about 15 minutes.
Q: If the dryer is ventless, why does the free installation require you to purchase a vent kit?
A: You will be reimbursed for the vent.
Q: Is there a pedestal for this dryer?
A: HI I think there is one available for this dryer but I'm stacking them so didn't need one. They should show you the pedestal on the Best Buy website, I think I saw one there.
Q: Can this model be stacked with a different brand washer (Whirlpool) ??
A: Great question, Ecowasher! Currently we are not able to confirm compatibility with non-Samsung products. ^Jecca
A: R-134a and you have to be vigilant about keeping the lint trap and evaporator coil clean. Even though we have done this, it still plugged up. Worked great for about 2 years. Took the top and back off and cleaned all the lint out and it still doesn't operate correctly. Probably has something to do with poor design or quality control on the internal seals. Other than that, it has been good. Energy efficient and gentle on clothes.
