Q: Does this dryer need to be hooked up to water supply?
A: Thanks for asking, curious! A water line will need to be installed in order to use any of the steam functions on this dryer. If no water line is connected, the non-steam functions will still be available. ^Jecca
Q: Can the dryer door opening be reversed?
A: Yes. The guys who delivered my dryer checked my laundry room and hook ups, noticed my washer was on one side but the door of the dryer was on the same side so to speak. They flipped the door for me before even bringing it inside.
Q: Is the alarm or sound adjustable (Off/Low/Med/High, etc.), or is it just On or Off?

A: My new unit has the same thing - Cooling light is on all the time. But mine does heat up.
