I received my dryer and washer from BEST BUY 2 months after I ordered it because they took my order twice and delivered it to other customers which caused a huge delay in me getting the order that I paid almost $2000 for. Now that that's off my chest. The Dryer has pros and cons. The description on the website says that the dryer doesn't have the dry sensor but it does and it doesn't work all that great. Regular clothes dry great but if your drying a comforter or a heavy blanket, the dryer will sense the outside of the fabric as being dry and shorten the dry time. Once the cycle is done and I take out the comforter, the entire inside will still be very damp. So the dry sensor is off. You will have to restart the dryer several times to complete the drying process. I do love the inside light that comes on when you open the dryer door especially at night because my laundry area is in my bathroom. Not having to turn on lights when removing laundry is a plus. I also like the lent dispenser notification that lets you know when it's time to clean it. Having teenage kids that most times don't even think to clean the lent dispenser drying their clothes, it's a good reminder. The dryer plays a nice tune when it's done drying but you have the option to turn it off. I'm still getting use to the different drying settings and what cycles work best for each load. If you're like me and switching from a old dryer that was probably made in 90's to an updated dryer like this, you will have to give yourself some time to get use to the functionality. The dryer also comes with a steam feature. I had my water supply updated before delivery because I wanted to be able to use this feature as well. Yes you will have to have water supply to your dryer for the steam feature so if this is important to you, make the necessary updates before delivery! It wasn't expensive to do or time consuming. The guy added the additional water connections in minutes. Why pay all this money for a dry and not be able to use all of its features. It actually makes my towels fresher. This feature is a huge plus for me. Overall I would giver this dryer a 8 out of 10

Was happy to receive the new set last month seemed like everything was good until... 1. I noticed the dryer and washer colors don’t match. Realizing this may be a small issue to some but $2k for a matching set, should mean a “matching set.” 2. Original Dryer was not drying after 16 days. Replaced by Best Buy today great service from their side but get it together Samsung! 3. New Dryer still does not match washer! At this price point one might expect things to match. “Oh hey look at my new expensive car... no don’t worry that the hood doesn’t match the roof or the trunk or the doors.”

we purchased both the matching washer and GAS dryer. both items were purchased in white. They are better than what we had previously. We purchased this model due to my sister having the same models but a year or 2 older. they really liked them. The washer has been great so far. we seem to be able to fit a few more items of clothes in, reducing the number of loads. In addition, it seems like the soap has dissolved better in this machine than what our other did. We have only used liquid soap so far, we have not used powder soap yet. We ordered the gas dryer because that is what we had previously, in addition it seems like the gas dryer seems to dry better than our other electric dryers in the past. The dryer seems to tumble to clothes a lot better. They come out quite fluffy and not balled up like others in the past. the settings are plenty so that is nice. it does take a little getting used to, but with all new items, it takes time. They are super quiet so it can be run at night or during kids nap times. The only thing that was a bummer was that the dryer was delayed about a week. it took some coordinating on our schedules to have people around when it finally got delivered. it also delayed some laundry as we had sold ours so only having a washing machine didn't really do us any good. Best buy did deliver without any additional charges and the 2 guys that did the delivery were super good about everything. It helped that they took the packaging so we didn't have to deal with tossing it and taking up space in our garbage. One specific word of advice is look at your gas line connections, making sure that your flex pipe is sitting to the size on the dryer. Making sure that this is done prior to the delivery date will reduce trips to the local hardware store. We originally found these units at Costco, but Best Buy was able to match the price, so that helped a lot.
