Protect displays and type faster with this Samsung book cover keyboard case for 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab A. The protective front cover guards against scratches and impacts, while the built-in keyboard helps you type faster and improve productivity. This Samsung book cover keyboard case pairs easily with tablets via Bluetooth and Micro-USB connectivity for versatility.
A: Yes, the keyboard is detachable, leaving behind a decent case with a very functional and sturdy kick-stand. The keyboard section pops on and off super easy, and because it uses a Bluetooth connection, if you want to use it more remotely, that is perfectly doable too.
Q: The keyboard connects to the tablet by a micro USB cable?? And bluetooth ??
A: It connects to the tablet via bluetooth only.
A: I just hit Fn-C combo and after a few seconds the keyboard was visible to the tablet.
A: There is a thunderbolt USB port but I believe it's only for charging. However, you don't need a mouse because the touch-screen remains active even when you are using the keyboard. The keyboard works pretty well (I'm typing on it now) but it does stutter if you have a heavy touch.
Q: Does the key board work with All Samsung Tab A products?
A: Being it uses a bluetooth connection, it theoretically should be compatible with most any android phone or tablet. How well it does that I cannot say. Look for devices that use bluetooth the 5.0 protocol. I find these devices connect almost immediately and the connection is much more stable.
Q: Why has this keyboard only get 3 stars from the 5 people who rated it? Thank you.
A: I rated it 4 stars. I think it is actually a 4.5 star product If it was sold at a lower price. But at full list price, not so much
A: The tablet charges separately. The keyboard uses a micro USB connector whereas the tablet charges with a USB type C connector.
Q: Is this an actual samsung product
A: All I can tell you is that it says it's Samsung, and when I turn it on, it also says Samsung.
