A: Yes, the keyboard is detachable, leaving behind a decent case with a very functional and sturdy kick-stand. The keyboard section pops on and off super easy, and because it uses a Bluetooth connection, if you want to use it more remotely, that is perfectly doable too.

A: It connects to the tablet via bluetooth only.

A: I just hit Fn-C combo and after a few seconds the keyboard was visible to the tablet.

A: There is a thunderbolt USB port but I believe it's only for charging. However, you don't need a mouse because the touch-screen remains active even when you are using the keyboard. The keyboard works pretty well (I'm typing on it now) but it does stutter if you have a heavy touch.

Q: Does the key board work with All Samsung Tab A products?

A: Being it uses a bluetooth connection, it theoretically should be compatible with most any android phone or tablet. How well it does that I cannot say. Look for devices that use bluetooth the 5.0 protocol. I find these devices connect almost immediately and the connection is much more stable.

A: I rated it 4 stars. I think it is actually a 4.5 star product If it was sold at a lower price. But at full list price, not so much

A: The tablet charges separately. The keyboard uses a micro USB connector whereas the tablet charges with a USB type C connector.

Excellent keyboard, Super battery life
A fantastic accessory, very responsive, and the keys dont stick. Easy pairing, and the tablet remembers your keyboard. It has good function keys, and a long lasting battery. I like everything about this keyboard except the cae protection. If your a home user, then you can probably get away with it. But for travel or work, you need to invest in a solid TPU protective case. The tablet, although sturdy wont hold up to drops and water splash. As you can see below I use a super rugged case and just lay the tablet in the tablet holder. I think you will like this accessory, and its well worth the money, you hve multiple viewing angles with the kickstand on the back.

Not impressed
The bluetooth keyboard case is a cool concept but this particular case when propped with the built in stand lays way to far back and it also doesn't fold all the way open so you have to hold the tablet in landscape way or take tablet out. This is not a product I'd brag about

Not a bad keyboard.
I have seen alot of negative comments on this keyboard. I got it for free with the purchase of the tablet from best buy. Maybe thats why I think its a decent keyboard. Its made really well, the buttons are firm but quiet and soft. It holds a charge for a very long time. The back brace is really tight, and keeps it from slipping or falling. Very easy to setup and use. Turn the Bluetooth on the tablet on. Turn the keyboard on and push the 2 blue keys together and hold until it says paired. About 5 seconds.
