A: Despite what the title says this is a standard 980. I tried purchasing it assuming the title was correct, but sadly it is just the standard 980. If you do purchase this just be aware Best Buy will not honor an exchange for the 980 PRO as I was informed they go of the model number in their systems not the product title or description.
A: This item is a 1TB 980 SSD. It is not the pro as listed in the title. The picture is incorrect in capacity, but correct in model.
A: I purchased this late December 2021, installed the very next day. It came in a anti-static bag, wrapped in bubble wrap, so there is no original packaging, but it did not have any outward signs of abuse and after I cloned my drive, it performed wonderfully. Coming from a mechanical hard drive with 140 MB/s I'm now quite satisfied with 3500 MB/s sequential read speeds. Boot time for Windows dropped from 6 minutes to about 6 seconds.
