Q: Anyone have knowledge on extending the time the soundbar will stay on while not receiving a signal
A: I spent an hour talking to tech support at Samsung before they told me it was set for five minutes (seems like two minutes to me) before it turns itself off. They said it couldn’t be adjusted. I’m still very happy with my purchase, but this is irritating.
Q: Is it compatible with a wireless Klipsch sub?
A: No. You will need the Sansung SWA 700 which was designed to pair with the sound+ bars (650, 6500 and 750). It pairs via a wifi dongle that is included with the sub.
Q: Can this sound bar be connected to the bottom of my Samsung 60" tv?
A: There's a mounting kit included with the sound bar to hang it from a wall-mounted TV. If the TV is on a tabletop, it should fit underneath the TV. Go to Samsung website, search for this sound bar. You will find specifications for length, width, height. Better yet, ask the Best Buy salesman for specs. Surprised you didn't get all this info from him or her. Download the user manual on the Samsung website for full details if the Best Buy salesman doesn't have a copy. It's a great unit; works as advertised, no need for woofer. Setup process a bit complicated though.
Q: How is it for music playback
A: I think it sounds great. I started with just the soundbar and was happy. Added the sub and...WOW! Added the rear speakers and I’m in heaven.
A: I have my soundbar sync'ed with my Amazon Echo as far as Bluetooth goes. I'm not sure about the IoT part.
Q: Can it be wirelessly connected to a sub?
A: Yes it can to a Compatible Samsung subwoofer made just for this Soundbar.
