    Great soundbar BUT has a big flaw in operation!!!

    This goes for ALL Samsung new soundbars. They have a factory preset feature that CAN NOT be turned off! AFTER 5 MINS OF PAUSING YOUR TV...EVEN A SAMSUNG TV LIKE I HAVE IT HOOKED UP TO IT SHUTS OFF AUTOMATICALLY. You have to manually turn it back on if you take a break to fix a snack or to answer nature's call. IT IS SO FRUSTRATING! I am constantly returning to my shows or games and having to reach for the remote to turn it ON...can't use my DirecTv remote as it doesn't turn it back on if the TV set is still on...only turns it on when it turns TV on initially. THIS FEATURE IS ON ALL SAMSUNG NEW SOUNDBARS & many people have COMPLAINED and asked for a firmware update to change it to at least 30 mins or be able to disable it but as of yet...no update has been issued. This has been going on for over a year now with Samsung doing NOTHING about it! Was really happy with my soundbar...really don't need to add the rear speakers btw... sound is spread out really well. I got them and they are just OK. So if you are looking at the HW-ms450, 550, 650, 750, or 950 etc. BE AWARE of this STUPID auto shutoff setting that can't be adjusted...except in AUX mode for some odd reason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung MS750 Soundbar System. I am sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with the user experience.

      When the Soundbar is connected via Optical or Bluetooth connection and there is no sound for 5 minutes, the set turns off automatically, as these technologies do not have a method of sending power On/Off commands.
      You can avoid the auto shut-off by using HDMI or Wi-Fi connection.

    Great clear sound

    * I bought the display model for 300 at a local BB. After it was set up, every ten minutes the volume would jack up to 50 which was just awful. This happened multiple times the few hours I had the device which lead me to return it that day. Figured it had to be set up that way in case someone pressed the button at the store for a demo. Bought an excellent open box item the same night that arrived two days later for 335 plus tax and warranty it came out to 410. The sound is really amazing, set up was pretty easy the 2nd time around. Just got a Q6 65 and this pairs up with it nicely. Been watching all sorts of 4K and non 4K programming and everything sounds great. I bought the 4 year warranty based on it being an open box and my horrible experience with the display model that was purchased. Have not paired it with a 4k player yet, but watched a few movies on the old PS3 and the sound was legit, Love the design, the wife approved.

    Moved into a new house and put my large surround sound system in a theater room. Wanred something to go with the TV in our large great room. My wife wanted a soundbar for aesthetics. After considerable research and finding this on sale I got this with the optional Sub ($750 for both). I was sceptical that a sound bar would cut it in such a large room bur wow it delivered. The bar by itself does a decent job. With the sub the sound stage opens up and adds depth with a solid tight bass and frees up the speakers in the bar to focus on the mids and highs. Sound is excellent for both movies and TV (we only stream on this TV) tried streaming music from Alexa briefly via BT and it worked well. If you have a large room and can swing it get both. If you are in an apartment or the room is not that large/open the bar by itself is more than adequate. Grab one or both while on sale - great sound and great value!

    huge Soundstage. Brings out all the subleties and the layers in music tracks. Hands on this thing is NICE. I also own the HW-K950. I’ve never heard the MS-650, but if one can catch this 750 on sale for the price of the 650 it’s more than worth it. I have a Bose Soundtouch 300 and Sub that uses Phase Guide tech to throw sound at the walls, and it works well. I was using the Bose in our Master Bedroom, but moved it to my den. Put the MS-750 in the bedroom and it had me looking as if I had speakers on the sides. The sound never really seems to come from behind you, but the scale of the wall of soundthis bar creates is great. I also have the SWA-700 Subwoofer. Right now I prefer this soundbar over the Bose 300. Especially given the Bose’s ARC issues where you have to unplug the bar and TV to re-sync. It can’t beat the HWK-950, because that thing is just thunderous when playing an Atmos track, but second place is not bad at all, especially considering it’s the same manufacturer. Kudos to Samsung. Great work.

    We decided to go with this because we purchased a Samsung television and knew it would be a super easy setup. It definitely was. Just plugged it in with an optical cable and it was done. I pretty much leave it on smart sound and it always sounds great. We have a very open room and with the tv we had previously, you had to have the sound in the 30s-40s (sometimes even higher depending on what’s going on in the house) to hear it. We typically have the sound bar on in the teens and it projects great. Music sounds awesome on it as well. All in all I’m very happy with this purchase. I was told it would be better to lean towards a company that is known for speakers and sound but for what we were needing it for, it more than suits our needs and exceeds our expectations.

    As good for music as a soundbar is going to get

    This soundbar is a tad large (but isn't the largest). I bought it with the intent of using it for primarily music and secondarily movies. The movies part in combination the with subwoofer, was really really well done. Quite immersive and set up some spectacular sound (for a soundbar). Most people would be more than happy with this setup for movies. I bought the soundbar with the intent of playing music and thats where it fell a bit short. Yes the stage felt bigger than a pair of bookshelf speakers I ended up with but the clarity felt lacking. If you're looking for ultra clear vocals/instruments, you'll probably want to avoid a soundbar (as I unfortunately ended up doing). However, for wife acceptance factors and other reasons, this is a great soundbar.

    Got this to replace a smaller Samsung soundbar that was not filling our 2 story family room. This one paired with the subwoofer does a MUCH better job of filling the room with a wide range of sound. Tested some 4k blu ray moves on it and I must say it sounds absolutely amazing. Setup was very easy, be sure to measure the space where you will put this sound bar at, it is very large and has some weight to it. I took off one star due to the annoying feature that samsung soundbars have that makes them turn off if there is no sound coming through (Like if you have the dvr paused for too long or something.) I also have been having weird issues with ARC, switched over to bluetooth from my KS800 and its been working.

    This is a great sounder and it can stand alone without a sub. if you lean towards an audiophile, then you are going to want the sub. The average user will be happy as it is. Connectivity is a bit odd at first, but easy. It is like the sound bar learns to connect to BT computer when it is on and the TV when it on. The app is needed to update the firmware and there are other thing you can do with the app. The family of sound plus Samsung piece make this system neat in that you can add as you go along. Other manufactures of similar systems are a bit too elitist for my taste.

    Couldn’t decide which Samsung Soundbar to get at first. I wasn’t looking to break the bank, just wanted to improve on the speakers that come with the tv. After listening to several options and discussing them with my salesperson, I decided to go with a little more than I thought I would. I’m glad I did. System was easy to set up and I’m not good at doing these kinds of things. The sound is a 100 % improvement over the original tv speakers. Will probably add the wireless subwoofer in the near future to complete the system. Very pleased with my purchase.

    Requires setting the source every time

    Wanted to eliminate my receiver and run my cable box and my Apple TV into the sound bar with one HDMI cable to my Samsung TV. Installed it per the instructions, but every time I turn on the TV the sound bar required me to toggle through the source. I wanted the input source to default to HDMI IN 1. Called SC and for an hour ran through a whole bunch of scenarios with the TV that really made no sense but I complied in case I was missing something. STILL DID NOT WORK! Seems like a no brainer to just have a setting to set the a default input source like every other electronic device, but no! Ended up returning it and having reset my TV and remotes back.

    This soundbar is awesome. The sound it produces is really clear and crisp. I paired it with the surround speakers and the subwoofer and its really impressive all together. You can't trust most of the people reviewing products cause most people have unrealistic expectations and complain about everything. They nitpick it to death, like they could build something better. This is a really good soundbar with great features. Connectivity is never a problem. Had a few other brand soundbars that always had connectivity issues and couldn't produce the sound this one does.

    Purchased as an open box return to save money and i couldn't be happier. If you're currently using the stock television speakers on your flat screen and don't want to upgrade to a gigantic system for better sound...look no further! I paired this with sub and it's perfect room filling sound at any level. Even streaming music sounds great. I purchased the sub as an open box return as well and saved $$$. They're both guaranteed so i took the chance and will always look for an open box deal! Thanks Best Buy!

    Sound isn't bad but the auto shut off that happens maybe 12 - 14 minutes when no sound is coming through is a pain. If you pause a show or movie to go do something the stupid thing shuts everything off. I some times listen to movies late night with blue tooth headphones and can't do that now They don't work with the bar just my Apple or Amazon TV and no sound to the bar and of course everything shuts off. I got it because of the 2 4k pass through's but Apple TV has Prime app now so don't need the second HDMI Bad purchase for me. I see others have asked Samsung for a firmware change but no success

    So, first off I bought this for about $150 under the retail price. This Samsung soundbar is absolutely amazing. It has a lot of cool features you can use for your TV, phone, tablet etc to play music. It has two HDMI ports to plug in your Blu-ray player, Apple TV, Firestick etc. That way, you can use the specific device directly with the soundbar. It has one ARC HDMI port to plug your soundbar directly into the ARC HDMI spot on your TV itself. Very good quality & features. I bought the wireless subwoofer & satellite speakers as well.

    I'm so impressed with the Samsung - Sound+ 5.0-Channel Soundbar HDR & 4K Supported - Black... paired with the subwoofer, the sound is amazing... very balanced. I purchased it as an "open box" and it looked brand new, however the remote it came with looked like it was a few years old given all of the scratches. This was probably a store demo but I'm okay with that for saving over $100 on it...i purchased the sub as an open box as well and I'm very pleased. I'm sure there are better setups for the die hard audiophiles but i couldn't be happier!

    Sound is excellent. WiFi streaming of music is outstanding with tremendous sound quality. Somewhat difficult to use Logitech Harmony remote to control Input selection as Soundbar only as a Single Source button and must toggle through all inputs. Remote battery cover is terrible. Initial remote could not be opened but Samsung shipped a new one - still had difficulty getting open but ultimately succeeded. Over priced.

    I have this sound bar paired with the 10" subwoofer and surround speakers. it sounds amazing. in smart mode it knows how to adjust to the different sounds and it does it beautifully. my only gripe is it will shut off if you leave it paused for more than 5 minutes. Samsung says they may put out an update addressing this issue. but i have the Fire tv cube which controls my tv and soundbar so i just ask her to turn it on and we're good to go.

    I had a 5 year old soundbar I was replacing. Figured I’d go top notch so I bought this. Severely unimpressed. So I bought the sub. Made it decent but only at max volume so I bought the rear speaker also. Jesus Samsung. For $1000.00USD (haha) is this what’ you give us for a build as you go system. I literally have the volume at 75% or above at all times because It is ridiculously underwhelming. The specs on paper don’t match up to the product.

    Well worth the money, this replaced my cheap $150 bar and I had no idea what I had been missing. I compared the two with a few pivotal scenes from some movies known for sound (Jurassic Park t-rex attack, Children of Men long takes, Saving Private Ryan opening), and couldn't believe the difference. It connects easily to my phone and smart speaker, and I'm excited to someday have it somewhere where I can turn it up without bothering my neighbors.

    Samsung hit a home run with this addition to their sound bar offerings. Compared to a similar product from Bose, the Samsung 750 is superior in its options, sound dispersal and cost. A simple installation and 100 percent compatibility with our Sony TV. Bose was a nightmare. We look forward to adding the sub-woofer at some point in time but it's really not a necessity.
